Stornoway Vehicle Hire
This was so far my best car rental experience. We could not take our car ona ferry (all places already taken) so we rented locally. I found out for a day trip it is cheaper to hire locally than bring the car to the island. The service was excellent, absolutely hassle-free and friendly. The car was waiting for me in the port, no need to go to the branch, not even for the return. Next time I will rent the car again here. Thank you guys, you do excellent job!

Stornoway Vehicle Hire
We have hired cars from Stornoway Vehicle Hire twice. The first was when we were on a cruise, and we wanted to see Lewis and Harris independently. For us the cruise visit was a scoping visit. Our service then was so good, and so memorable that we decided to hire another car when we were on a proper Scottish holiday – in our mobile home; we needed a small car to tour more extensively. There was no surprise for us in that service from this company was frankly perfect. I can't recommend them more highly.

Whole process was very straightforward. Pleasant staff, good quality vehicle (small car was all I needed) and competitive price. The handover was quick due to the app for identifying small areas of scuffed paintwork and the return was easy, with the key box at the ferry terminal. Would use again.

Really good hire experience with this company! Rates were v reasonable and the best I found for the period I needed. I was met from the ferry by a friendly and helpful rep who brought the car to the terminal entrance; very much appreciated as we arrived in heavy rain. The car was great, new this year so all in excellent condition and a joy to drive. Having a vehicle meant we had that much more freedom to explore Lewis in all its beauty. Drop off was just as straightforward and I would absolutely recommend and use Stornoway Vehicle Hire again.

From arriving at Stornoway Airport and being greeted with a friendly welcome, to leaving the car back at the same point in the airport carpark, it was fantastic experience all round. The car was impeccably presented and any questions I had about it were answered confidently and to my absolute satisfaction. I chose a larger car in their range (Group C on the website) and could not be happier at the price. The value far exceeded the cost and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.
