Richard Swift farrier

Richard Swift has been shoeing my old boy for 6 years and fixed him after vets said he would never come sound!He is very patient and calm with the horses and is great with young and nervous horses. Also unlike some farriers is honest, if he thinks your horse doesn't need shoes ect he will tell you.Best thing is if you make an appointment he will always turn up and calls if hes running a bit late!Highly reccomended

Extremely unprofessional today. He had a bad attitude from the moment her turned up (to which he was late). He did one trim and didn’t even rasp it down, then when he started the second horse which flinched with her back leg ever so slightly (any idiot could’ve dealt with it) he was like “nope. Not dealing with this. Not doing it” got his stuff in the van and drove off. I’ve now been left with 1 pony untrimmed and 3 horses needing shoes.
