Reliance Taxis Cirencester

Used this company for the Cheltenham race week for me and my 7 mates. George was excellent, was there ready when we wanted to leave and also took photos of us. We agreed to be picked up from Cheltenham town centre to come home and he was there on time and it couldn’t have been any easier. Thoroughly recommend!

Called a few other taxi services, no availability. Tried Reliance and was delighted by the enthusiasm of the operator Cathryn! Fortunately she was able to fit us in at short notice on a busy night. The standard of service was consistent from start to finish, nothing short of brilliant. Great communication, great driver, and a nice clean car! Will definitely use again in future.

George always contacts me promptly to confirm a booking. He has always been on time and courteous. The car is always immaculate. I would thoroughly recommend the service.

I booked two taxis trips for my wedding (to the venue for my bridesmaids and mum, and back from the venue for them and also me and my husband). They arrived promptly on the way to the venue but I was later told by my bridesmaids that the driver drove very fast and was on calls the whole way. Later in the evening our plans changed and we needed to cancel one of the two taxis in the evening (we had already paid for all taxis for the day in the previous trip), and were told they could cancel but that we’d lose the money - we accepted this and cancelled one taxi.The taxis then arrived for pick up at the end of the night and both taxis were there, the driver of one became very irate that we cancelled one taxi (bear in mind we had paid for it/lost our money and had rung them to try to cancel it) and that we were late getting into the taxi (me and my husband were saying goodbye to guests). At one point I was so astounded at how angry he was that I told him he needed to calm down, to which he threatened to leave us at the venue. This was the worst end to our wedding day!! I can’t believe how rude the driver was (he wore a fedora style hat but I didn’t get his name). I would not recommend this company, even if desperate.

Perfect time, the car is very clean and smiling very nicely. The driver is a very good exercise driver.

A business which is based on a reliable service. My taxi doesn’t turn up, after calling them they said it’s been cancelled due to a breakdown. The most used excuse in the book. Fantastic service guys, I won’t be using you again. And a warning to other people if they want to get somewhere for an important appointment you won’t get there. Stay clear of this company.

Absolutely incredible service - helped us to organise several journeys for a wedding party and were communicative and absolutely reliable. Kept us informed and arrived on time (early as requested!) and all drivers were absolutely friendly and helpful. Cathryn in particular helped us so much with the bookings!
