The Shhh Baker

Polly made our wedding cake, I knew I wanted to use her as we have had several other cakes from The Shhh Baker and they are always amazing. I gave Polly some free reign over how she was going to do what we wanted and omg did she pull it out of the back! The first thing I wanted to do after our ceremony was go and see the cake! I had so many compliments and we have our top tier saved so I can’t wait to taste that too. I can’t recommend Polly enough, her cakes taste amazing, she’s got a great eye for design/ ideas and she is so reasonable too. Plus she drove two hours just to deliver my cake.

The best way to leave my review is to paste the message I sent after receiving the cake: “Your cake was hands down the best birthday cake we’ve ever had. Not only did it look incredible, it is far and away the best tasting cake we’ve ever eaten. We’ve been sharing it around with our family and friends all week and everyone agrees it’s truly something special. You are clearly very very dedicated and talented. Thank you again for everything and for going the extra mile to deliver.”

We were let down at the last minute for a cake for my Nans 80th birthday. And with 24 hours to go Polly stepped in and saved the day. Not only did she go above and beyond with her service; the cake was absolutely beautiful & tasted amazing. I will never be able to thank you enough Polly for everything you did. Absolutely loved our wedding cake by Polly! She was amazing and saved us with the cupcakes and cake topper last minute after we was let down! She also did an awesome job on Husbands birthday cake! Cannot recommend enough! Tastes and looks amazing! Will definitely be back for more!

Polly created our beautiful wedding cake. Not only did she make us a two tiered cake with two different flavours, she also made a gluten free cake. The flavours were fantastic and the cake looked perfect. We received so many compliments on how delicious the cakes were so we will 100% be ordering from Polly again.

Polly is amazing! I’ve had numerous cakes and cupcakes for my husband, Dad and daughter from Polly over the last few years and she never disappoints. The cakes look beautiful, taste delicious and always leave you wanting more! She always meets the brief and is so lovely and accommodating! She’s absolutely amazing x

I contacted Polly as my usual cake lady was unavailable and I’m so glad I did, amazing cake. She did exactly what I wanted with very little description from me. Looked and tasted amazing, everyone commented. Polly even drove all the way to Essex for just my cake as another Essex cake cancelled, forever grateful! Fantastic service
