I did the mistake of asking for hair layering. I was in absolute shock with the results. Firstly, the length that was taken off my hair was a lot more than I asked for. Secondly, my hair was uneven and very choppy. This is without a doubt the WORST haircut I’ve had in my entire life. I have to wear my hair in a bun to hide it. No one who’s seen my hair thinks in any way it looks good and people are in shock when they see what was done to my hair. 1 star is too high of a rating given what was done to my hair.

Excellent hairdressers. Very reasonably priced. I have been going there for over a year and haven't had a bad cut. Definitely worth a go

Twice I've been here I should have learnt the first time, took myself and my daughter there after restrictions eased, hers was the worse two inches longer on one side of her head mine was just too uneven.But went back and the head stylist fixed both and it was lovely. Last week went in and a man was cutting my hair. I had grown it for a year and a half after braving the shave and going bald. All I wanted was to trim up the back to match the front. I specifically said I didn't want it short. Low and behold I left in tears, refused to pay for it, it's a very short bob and looks awful, had to go home miserable and honestly will never return, they take on inexperienced stylists that never stay long because they are awful. Never again. Pay extra and go elsewhere.

I had my very long hair cut here this past Friday and wanted it mid back length. It has ended up near my shoulders. She made the first cut and I was happy with the length that she showed me and I knew it would be a little shorter because of layering. The layers are not blended and it looks horrible. My hair looks chunky

I've taken my son here a couple of times, most recently to have a long overdue haircut after restrictions were eased.The staff are friendly and talkative, prices are reasonable, and distancing and staff welfare seem to be taken seriously.My only real complaint is the inconsistency with my son's haircuts. First one was really good, second one wasn't up to the same standard.

Great experience at the cutting bar. Easy, no fuss haircut. No booking required - I was able to walk in and almost immediately get a haircut. They did a fantastic job of it as well - I'm really pleased with the cut. very reasonably priced as well, especially with the current deal of £25 for wash, cut and blow-dry. I've had far worse cuts that I had to pay 3 times that for! They don't do colour, which is a little annoying but since the service and price was so good, I didn't feel like deducting a star. Thank you so much for your service today.

I have been to the Cutting Bar previously and never had any issues. We went last week and the woman we saw was not only rude but I’ve now got hair that is far shorter than I asked for and is completely different lengths! Never again! I now have to pay out to go somewhere to try and rectify the mess she has left my hair in!

Finding a great hairdresser is so difficult. I've tried so many different ones literally all around, including whilst travelling on business.... but who knew I had a fantastic hairdresser like Faye right on my doorstep.Listened carefully to what I wanted, and the styling was perfect, and the layering and thinning was brilliant .... what's the best compliment, my wife liked it.Well done Faye.
