Nice playground done up well for the kids with a pleasant walk around on a new path, plenty of seating areas and fun exercise equipment as you make your way around

Charnock Recreation Grounds
Nice park, very tidy. Lovely mini walk around the outside with outdoor exercise machines. Play area has a fence all the way round.Some of equipment like zip line needed repair (most do) the rest of the equipment although well used was perfectly fine for the kids.Great roundabout which is wheelchair accessible, concrete enclosed football pitch and plenty of green space for football etc.

Good place for families. Great views. Safe play area for children, large area if grass. Good for football, flying kites or a walk down Carter Hall Lane. Plenty of parking.

Charnock Recreation Grounds
A lovely view with lots of playground and gym equipment and a path which circles the park with benches and picnic seating areas makes this a lovely public park. It has good parking and easy access from the Supertram. Walk downwards from the bottom exit and you'll find yourself walking in the beautiful Moss Valley.

Go regularly, dog walking . There are a couple of picnic tables but also has a playground , football/ basketball court and exercise machines free to use .

Good little park with children's play area and green area with exercise equipment. It was very boggy in the children play area which made some of the equipment difficult to get to. Wellies definitely needed when weather has been wet. Zip wire also missing.

Charnock Recreation Grounds
Over the years here has been updated, and has a lot for the children to play on. There is also a lot of grassed area to have a picnic or play games. Situated behind charnock hall primary school it's ideal for an after school visit in the nice weather.

I hadn't realised how large the area behind the playground was. Had a nice walk round with lambs bleating in the field nearby. Adult gym equipment placed along the way if you want a quick cardio fix.

Charnock Recreation Grounds
Excellent facilities for kids in play ground and there's a football/basketball fenced off court , wooden climbing frame , willow wheel chair tunnel and different exercise units around the field. In winter the hole field holds water after a good downpour and becomes a mud bath .
