Foods always great at the Griffin, we enjoy it every time we come in. The new festive menu is great and the cocktails are too. The staff are always super lovely too, friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble.

Popped in after a dog walk for some tea and a pint. Was met by Meg who was my main server and Caitlin who also served. I asked to sit outside and wasn't aware it was table service which was a nice touch. Food and drinks ordered promptly. I had the 3 course supper menu which included a chicken and ham terrine to start, mixed grill (slight extra for this) and sticky toffee pudding. All of which were fresh and tasty. Milo the pup also got included and Meg brought him a bowl of vegetables as a snack as I explained he has a sensitive tummy. Pint of Greene King IPA and a Coke Zero plus the 3 courses came to £33. Really happy with the food and the service and Milo enjoyed his veggies. Cheers Meg and Caitlin. See you again soon.

I celebrated my baby shower here in early October and had the best day! This was thanks to the staff who were so attentive, checking that we had enough drinks and ensuring the food was delivered quickly, even though we were a large group. The food was also delicious! Super grateful for making my day so special.

Lovely pub nice and cosy. Food was good and the staff were so lovely and friendly. I am giving it 4 stars only because there griddle wasn't working so there was quite a few things you couldn't order. But I really enjoyed what I did have I had a garlic mushrooms on a crumpet for starter and mushroom and ale pie for mains.

We had a starter and a main hereThe starters were cold but when we mentioned it they came back out nice and warmI cannot say enough about the service. Gemma was extremely nice, apologetic for the food and ensured we had a good time.I would recommend going here.

Lovely pub. Well decorated, very clean and well maintained.Food excellent. Festive menu brilliant - soup really different and tasty, souffle and beef cheek absolutely gorgeous - you can eat the cheek with a spoon and don't even need to chew. It is so melt in the mouth.Mince pie sundae delicious. We were both so full after.mains but couldn't resist sharing this pudding.Service attentive and friendly.Serves moretti and peroni so kept me happy.Will be returning soon

I took my son and grandson for lunch, on arriving we was met with a very helpful young waiting on staff, we was seated in a lovely place. Plenty of room. We ordered our food and didn't wait long for it to come, it was lovely and hot and well presented, we all enjoyed the food and will certainly be calling back in the future, would recommend the Korean chicken was beautiful,Thank you

We visited here recently for a family gathering. It was so lovely, the pub is absolutely gorgeous and the food tastes so good! We couldn’t believe how fast our food arrived as there was quite a big group of us, the temperature of the food was perfect too, our food taste amazing, there is a lot of options on the menu so the whole family was happy!It’s not often you get an all round great service even the staff were so friendly!Will definitely be back soon!!!
