Watergate Car Park

Handy for the town centre. Pay machines now take contactless card payment but Phone&Pay app no longer available.

I've used this carpark a few times. It's a well used carpark and the prices for in town parking are good in my opinion. It's a nice clean and well kept area.

Good little carpark. Not majorly expensive. Cash or card but app 'paybyphone' payment using the code on the board would not work.

A convenient car park for Grantham town centre.

Prices are on the same level as those in the rest of the town. Make sure that you do pay for and display your ticket where it can be seen easily as the car park is monitored by a traffic warden. Although there are the usual no liability notices around, I personally haven't had any issues with my car getting damaged.

Was easy to park and easy to pay, but the pay by phone app was different to other places so I couldn't be bothered to register yet another app. No option to use RingGo that I use at other car parks.

While a conveniently placed car park, it has a notably narrow entrance and inconveniently exits to the one-way system.It isn't particularly cheap and the ticket machine only accepts cash.But parking is free between 18:00 & 08:00, great!

Parking machine is cash-only despite having a card machine facility. Can pay with Phone and Pay app, for 20p extra.

Ideal place to park If visiting the town centre or slightly beyond.FREE on Sundays and bank holidays and if your a disabled driver, with the disabled bays right by the pay point.Cost is very reasonable but make sure you have plenty of coins available as no change given. Or you can download and pay via the app.Plenty of spaces available but if you have a large SUV type of vehicle then it will be a tight squeeze.Cycle area for somewhere to lock your bike. In plain view of those driving / walking past so ideal to ( hopefully ) stop anyone tampering with your bike.Can not say the same for the dedicatedMotor cycle bays / parking areas. These are up against the wall and painted burgundy ( not red ) but if someone parks a large car or there are a few cars parked together, then no one can see anyone tampering with your bike or your bike locks!Yes there is cctv ( dome type ) but not always guaranteed it is looking in the right direction.As usual these days keep your valuables out of sight and set a reminder on your phone when the time is near for Your parking to end.

Free after 6pm and Sundays.Watch out for very active Parking Wardens who spend much time here during rest of days.
