Great Family Business.I had a problem with my van and took it to John at Motec. The fault was diagnosed, the part ordered, loan car borrowed, and I had my van back healthy again all in the same day. What great service! Finally if you're a dog lover, then they have Labrador cross called Diesel that is happy to say hello. I can not praise this business highly enough, I just wish more businesses were like this one. Thank you.

I have done my MOT there.At first I fought that they are very picky ( they looked and checked so many tiny things!)But when I made an appointment to fix the problem ( in other garage as lots of welding had to be done) and I have seen the amount of damage - honestly, I am glad that they done it properly.Overall experience was very good, very friendly, smiley staff, explained me everything and answered all my questions. I came back for re-test and they have done it the same day.

Motec's team saved the day (and a boot full of groceries!)Hearing a metallic noise coming from under my vehicle en route this morning, I pulled into Motec on the chance they'd be able to see where the noise was coming from. The mechanic drove my car onto the ramps, seemingly I'd picked up a piece of metal wire whilst driving. They promptly gave the underside of my car a check over for peace of mind. All was well and I was soon on my way again.Thank you so much for your polite, friendly and professional help.

Motec were very helpful earlier with our MOTs and tyre replacements, but today they went even further, replacing my tyre very quickly after it had been punctured when I drove over a pothole. They provided an excellent, seamless service especially when I was most in need of it. Highly recommended.

I used MOTEC Chinnor about 8 months ago, but haven't had the time to review them until now.Overall, an okay service, but borderline scammed me.I hit a pothole, and had to replace a tyre and alloy as they both got damaged. I got quoted a price, fine, seemed a great amount.Then the bill came. Alloy service cost £10 more and tyre service cost £20 more. Not only that, I was originally quoted without VAT, so ontop of the extra £30 quid for the service, I had to pay £50, for a total of £80 more than I originally got told.I raised this with the lady at the reception, who shrugged and gave an awkward laugh (understandably, not much she personally could do).If it weren't for the fact that the mechanic that fitted the tyre and I interacted with was an absolute pleasure, I would have given a single star.I'm not complaining here about the fact that I had to pay VAT. I am complaining about the fact that I was lured in with a certain price, only to then have to pay a significant amount more once the service was received.
