I bought a new mattress from here two months ago and so glad I did. The staff are friendly and helpful and show you what is in your budget without trying to make you spend more. With my previous mattress that was only a year old, I developed a very painful back but now it’s almost pain free with my new firm mattress. Delivery was easy and they took away my old mattress for £20. I will definitely buy my next mattress from this store. I will never buy a memory foam mattress from an online seller again.

Excellent Company, highly recommended. We ordered 2 x Vi-Spring mattresses, they beat the best price we had been offered, took away our old mattresses FOC and delivered sooner than expected. The delivery guys installed and took away all packaging. A pleasure to deal with a reliable, courteous company.

We came here a couple of months back on a bank holiday Monday afternoon to look at double mattress's. There was a sign outside for 'bank holiday sale, extra 10% off'. Its a little strange inside as most items are not priced and you have to ask for the prices which are looked up on a computer system.We were looking for a mattress around £300-500, and whilst there checking to see if similar mattress's were available online, both to check reviews and to get an idea if the prices were reasonable. Me and my partner agreed before we went in we were happy to pay an additional £70-£80 to buy at the local shop as we would have preferred to buy locally and also its decency because we would have been able to try the mattresses out. The sales assistants were very helpful and generally not pushy at all but I was told while checking prices on my phone to bear in mind the prices in store are only valid today. Bearing in mind there was the extra 10% off I did feel a little pressure. We were getting an additional double bed elsewhere for our spare room and needed a mattress for this, but in the heat of the moment and not wanting to miss out ended up ordering two, one to replace our old existing mattress and one for the new spare bed. On getting home we regretted this choice, we should have just put our old mattress (still very good condition for its age) on the spare bed and put the new mattress on the main bed.I called 10 minutes after they opened the very next morning to cancel just one of the 2 £400 mattresses we had ordered. I was told this was ok and could pop back into the shop to get £400 refunded onto my card. 5 minutes later they changed their mind and called me back to say I cannot have a refund, orders are non cancellable, and started quoting the law and that they are entitled to do this, and also it is on my receipt (you only get this after you've made the payment/placed the order anyway). They allowed us to swap one mattress for a cheaper one, but it really wasn't what we wanted and felt forced to have a mattress we didn't want that was a lower spec to the old one we got rid of. It caused a lot of stress, regret, worry and upset. We rang back first thing the very next day after a bank holiday, only wanting to cancel one item, and felt it was very unfair and poor customer service. It may be legal but it doesn't mean its right, it bugged me more after what me and my partner had said to each other before about not agreeing with people who use shops to try things out then order cheaper online (we would pay £70-£80 extra) because that's the decent thing to do, though we are not legally obliged to do so, unfortunately there was no compassion back about changing our mind and wanting to cancel just the one item.Delivery was good, and the delivery guys were very friendly, putting on over shoes and carrying the mattresses to a room of our choice.If we had been able to cancel one of our mattresses our experience would have been so much more positive, but unfortunately it became an extremely negative experience, and would put us of reusing or recommending in future.

Over the years we have purchased mattress's that we have never been fully satisfied with but decided to purchased a new mattress and bed from the Bed Shop and WOW, hands down the best night sleep we've ever had, so glad we listen to their advice. Would gladly recommend to anyone, the showroom has a very good range and the guys were very helpful. Delivery was smooth and on time. Easily 5 Stars.
