Nice little area but it's really just people's homes. I would probably pick going to old Town or downtown Aberdeen if limited time given this. We had to walk through a very industrial area or around a shopping complex to get there too, so on foot I would probably skip. The people with all those cute photos are probably trespassing on people's homes so it seemed weird to be a destination. Plenty of food trucks by the shore a short walk from there and a nice looking restaurant if you did go though.

OMG what an amazing place , our visit wasn't planned we went there only because the place we was planning to visit was closed , and thanks God for that. Love places like these old Fishermen village . Some houses been refurbished some still looks like old one. Lots of houses are decorated . When you are around highly recommended for a visit

I've never seen a fishermen's village before and footdee really amazed me. Its so lovely seeing these unique houses and amazing decors. I loved being there. Will for sure go again

Footdee is a unique village near the mouth of the river Dee in Aberdeen.It is very old, most houses being 18th century and before.They were possibly fishermen's houses.Most are well kept and some have small but well kept gardens.Well worth a visit!

Nice lovely place consisting of 4 to 5 streets. Small beautiful houses that are historic. This is although a residential area, but at the same time many people visit it as part of tourist place. Residents are very nice and friendly. Beautiful houses with versatile settings. Very close to sea front and play area.

Beautiful wee place to visit. We saw Dolphins in the harbour around 11:30am!! Very quiet and a beautiful sunny day. Unique architecture and community.

Cute houses. Told it used to be fisherman's village. Love to see all decorations and ornaments adorning the houses.
