M&Y Maintenance and Construction

I got dangerously tailgated by one of their vans (reg - NA72 HCL) in Warrington yesterday (2/8/23)I emailed the company to report this dangerous, irresponsible behaviour and they couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge my email never mind do anything about it.This tells me that at best they don't care if their employees drive in a dangerous manner and at worst they actively condone it. Which ever way around it is I'd say this makes this company one to avoid like the plague and no one should ever do business with them.Update. Re: the response I got.I forwarded you the email I originally sent to M&Y on the 4th August. I've forwarded it to you again today (9th August)Final update.It's clear what M&Y's policy is to their drivers being a dangerous liability is - they don't care. What happens when you email this address is you get endlessly passed on to different departments all with a 5 days to hear back" timescale until eventually you stop hearing anything back. So the only conclusion you can end up with is this circus act of a company is one you should NEVER do any business with."

Dreadful company. DEB is the rudest person. Trying to arrange an appointment is like getting blood out of a stone. First appointment I sat in all day for to be told they couldnt get access". Liars. No one came. Second appointment arranged and the reminder message came trough for the wrong date! I called to inform them this was not the date requested and no one would be home

This company failed to notify me of an appointment date & time. I received a text 1 hour before this appointment I had no idea about saying the engineer was on their way. As I didn’t receive ANY notification of this appointment I was unable to attend so I rang them to explain this & to rearrange the date. The lady who answered was rude & condescending and proceeded to insinuate I was lying every time I tried to explain. I told her that I don’t need to be lectured on what I have & haven’t received then I hung up. I have never had an experience like this with someone so devoid of customer service skills. I made a formal complaint & provided the evidence I was not lying, but I heard nothing back from them.

Awful service throughout. No call or text go to let you know if they're running late or in my case dont show at all. I am now on my second week without a bath/shower that has running water.Inept, half arsed engineers. I'd say avoid them but you cant if your housing employs them. I hope they lose the contract soon. I wish also I could give no stars instead having to select 1.

This company carried out work in my area, on my street in Bootle. They left their waste which could have been toxic waste after virtually every shift. They've left plastic tubing on the public footpath and today when they left they'd left a full bin bag on our public footpath! Four fat blokes wobbling around smoking and making a three day job for two men last for four weeks for three men! They're a disgrace!

Had sonny at my property today to install door locks and shave down doors. Very professional work and went far beyond than expected. Can not thank him enough.Thank you sonny

Worst company I've ever worked for I'd give it no stars if I could badly undermanned ridiculous work loads tools that are falling to bits if you want to feel depressed this is the job for you health and safety is none existent alright money that's about the only benefit you'll get hope you don't like dinners you won't get chance to enjoy it when u start here. go on the tree surgeon side of it great boss

Never had work from this company however they are working on a property next door. they feel the need to sit in their vans on their lunch and then throw all ther rubbish and trash right outside my garden when their finished . half eaten food , cans of pop, plastic knifes , forks, chocolate wrappers. Builders masks . YOU NAME IT... completely disgusting . Cleaned up after there disrespectful workers 3 times so far . Dam right shocking behaviour from grown men . Shame on your company !!!!

100% rubbish company. Don't understand why regenda use this company .come out and don't do the work .half the time they don't nw what they there for or don'tdo yhe job properly.the staff are not helpful and just don't want to listen and get over with .got alot to say but don't have time .

Waited in all day for an appointment between 8am-1pm only for Debbie to call me at 5 minutes to 1 to tell me nobody is coming round! Debbie is very rude and very intimidating. I dont know how she is still working there! Clearly has no experience in customer service as that is no way to speak to people! It seems to be her answering the phone all the time too! I hope M&Y takes action as I see there is more than 1 complaint about her! I have put in a complaint and will not tolerate it! Very disappointed with her and services m&y provide!
