Vernon Park Surgery

I have nothing but praise for this surgery, I find the reception staff very helpful and friendly, Julie-Ann and Tracey are both very professional in the delivery of their service. Dr Chattergee is a good listening doctor and provides good advice also. I feel lucky that the surgery also has its own pharmacy which is extremely convenient.

This practice is brilliant! All of the staff are lovely and really helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. I had an awful time at my last GP. So happy i found this place.

I cannot explain how amazing this Surgery is! I’ve been with them for around 10 years and they’ve always been brilliant. Dr Chatterjee is great, the nurses are brilliant and the receptionist are outstanding at answering the phone in the morning. Very prompt with calling for appointments, updating details max sending messages and everything overall. Thank you! A

Dr Chatterjee is a brilliant doctor who cares for his patients and does get back to me quickly. Any problem I have had he has managed to help me.The receptionists at Vernon Park Surgery however are certainly not helpful. It really does make me wonder how/why some people choose to work in a profession where you are enrolled to help people in their personal situations but would rather choose to do the absolute opposite of be helpful or willing to listen.Rude telephone manners from several staff who speak over you, palm you off within minutes without other options being explored. It seems they dictate how this surgery is run!Their line manager seriously needs to review their telephone calls for training purposes in particular Debbie's. She needs support in telephone etiquette and how to handle calls because I am yet to come across a professional telephone conversation with this member of staff.I shouldn't have to come off a call feeling riled and emotional at the fact I have ongoing health issues, which by the way they have absolutely no medical training on and yet I am made to feel as if I am the problem!Sort this out Vernon Park or I will be relocating to a new NHS surgery which I have been part of since birth, either that or I will go private instead.
