This person has proven to be the most dishonest and fraudulent person I’ve ever seen! First he arrived at my property to assess the task, then gave me quote and promised to start on a certain day after receipt of payment. Despite telling and visually showing him the exact shade of paint we wanted, he turned up with the wrong shade. After arguing and trying to force me to accept his choice of color rather than mine, he budged and got the correct shade. Then later the same day, he decided that he won’t paint the kitchen anymore as he reckoned it’d be too expensive. Not for one moment did he accept that it was wrong of him to change the contract after we both agreed and he had started the job. Then he opened all of the loft windows and it rained heavily that day, flooding my carpet and underlay! When I called to make him aware, not a single word of apology nor acceptance of responsibility for his actions.Then I started looking for someone else to do the kitchen and he called me and demanded that I should hand over the paint that I bought with my money. He said he wanted to do some part of the kitchen again. He kept changing his stories every few hours and harassing me nonstop. This person kept visiting my property at nighttime hours after finishing work for the day, with claims that he had forgotten one thing or another. I warned him on several occasions to stop visiting my property at inhuman hours just because he had the key. He would call and text me, demanding that I should drive down to my property to discuss further with him, but I never pandered to him as I felt threatened and totally unsafe going anyway near him in his persistent angry state.Then he demanded 30% more, won’t provide accurate invoice and continued with his constant arguments and demands to be paid almost full quoted price without painting all the kitchen. As soon as I paid another 25%, he ran away leaving the house in the most terrible mess, completely covered one of my cupboards with sticky papers, abandoned the job and didn’t actually finish painting any room, knocked off loads of stuff that he never replaced etc.He acts very aggressively and constantly kept changing what he said.This was a huge mistake hiring such a dishonest and greedy painter who somehow vanished with my money! Just BEWARE everyone!
