I dropped Diggle off for a 3 week residential training as he was very easily over excited and having 27kg throw himself at you wasn't fun for a lot of people and his inability to calm himself down and then get overstimulated was less than ideal. However after 3 weeks he's a completely different dog, sends himself off to his bed when he's had enough of people and will listen when we tell him to stay for as long as needed, he's also stopped barking at night as soon as you leave him alone which my back and also my neighbors are very thankful for.He's overall a lot less stressed and anxious now. I'd never been without him for more than a night but the updates and videos were more than enough to let me know he was enjoying himself. Would recommend PlatinumK9 to anyone who was having an reservations about residential training

Our 20 month Border Terrier, Teddy, attended a 4 week residential at Platinum K9 from August-September 2023. Teddy was always perfectly fine with other dogs but after around 17 months he unexpectedly began to become reactive to other dogs, which made walks very challenging, stressful and different to what they had been. His barking was also proving an issue. After extensive research we decided to contact Platinum K9. From our initial call with Jon, everything was incredibly professional and thorough. Of course, we were nervous about dropping Teddy off however, all the team at PK9 explained everything in full and reassured us.I can honestly say the results have been amazing, his lead walking is excellent now and he has not shown any intent to become reactive to dogs. His barking has improved dramatically, still work to be done but it’s amazing the result.Teddy’s trainer, Alex, was superb. Sending us the weekly videos, answering any questions we had and keeping us informed. The handover day is brilliant (lasts around 3-4 hours) and it covered everything, also gave us the chance to practice with guidance from the trainers.What an outstanding outfit PK9 are, would fully recommend them to anyone! We can’t thank Leanne and the team at Platinum K9 enough for the 4 weeks training they completed with our cocker spaniel, Rafa. Rafa was a relentless lead puller whilst also being reactive on the lead towards dogs and people as well as reactive in the home.Rafa has been back home for over a week and the change we have seen so far in him is absolutely remarkable and that’s all down to his lead trainer, Leanne.Rafa is now a joy to walk, he remains by our side walking on a loose lead and has displayed no reactive behaviour towards other dogs as we pass by! At home, we can finally have friends over knowing that Rafa will be safe and calm in his bed, it’s so clear to see and how much happier he is now.We will be forever grateful to Leanne and the team for all the hard work they did with Rafa! Couldn’t recommend Platinum K9 enough.

We decided to seek the help of Jon and the team at Platinum K9 for or Border Collie Ozzy.Ozzy is a very reactive and anxious boy who has bitten in the past. Other professionals had failed and suggested that he be put to sleep.We enrolled Ozzy on the 4 week program as a last resort. During the 4 weeks, we were kept updated with progress reports and videos showing his achievements.His trainers Tom and Kryan were miracle workers. Amount other things, Ozzy can now walk loosely on a lead and walks very comfortably beside us making walks enjoyable.Ozzy is still a reactive dog but the team have taught him how to manage this with our support.We can highly recommend the team Platinum K9.Thank youAnne Ward

We honestly cannot recommend Platinum K9 enough for the training they did with our dog. Our boy was reactive to both dogs and people, so taking him out was so stressful it became impossible for us. The training that Platinum K9 did with him and the results of this have been beyond amazing. We cannot believe the transformation that they have achieved. This will be life changing for him and us. It is honestly a miracle and we could not be happier.We agonised over the decision to try residential training for him and it was the best decision that we have ever made. The care that he received from the team whilst he was away was so thorough and genuine, which was really comforting to us. We were kept in the loop throughout his stay regarding his well-being and got regular updates.Thank you SO MUCH Platinum K9!

A large German Shepard escaped from platinum K9 kennels a few months ago and was running loose around Crink lane in Southwell. No one from K9 platinum answered the door or my repeated phone calls. We managed to contact the dogs owner who had to drive back from their holiday to collect their dog. It’s terrible that a dog was able to escape given the number one priority of a dog kennel is to keep the dogs safe inside. The training style I have witnessed is also very questionable, I would not recommend this kennel to anyone.

I could not recommend Platinum K9 enough. Best decision we have made to ensure our dog can have the best life possible! Our boy Koda has been reactive to just about everything. People, animals, noises… everything.We send Koda to work with platinum K9 on their 4 week residential training course around 4 weeks ago.The weekly updates we received were amazing to see the results achieved within just one week. The handover was extremely thorough, we walked alongside the trainers and went through every scenario which meant we could leave feeling confident. We bought a raised bed to help with the training transferring over and to ensure Koda got his controlled relaxation in throughout the day! To say the least we are blown away with the results, we’ve been able to bring Koda everywhere with us! We’ve sat in cafes, walked through shops with him, even walks through the day without needing to feel anxious about what we’re going to encounter!! He still has some work to do with dogs, however we have the tools to help him with this and the more exposure he gets the more confident he will become!All of this has been done and he’s still the same loving boy!If anybody is anxious about sending their pup away for the first time, i felt the exact same but they cared for and loved our dog like they would their own! My chihuahua/whippet mix Toby has been back home for a month now, after spending 4 weeks with Platinum K9. Toby had become very reactive on lead, in the home, and around nearly anyone who came close to me. It had became a huge point of anxiety in my life, so I finally reached out to Platinum K9 about their residential training. After 4 weeks with them, Toby is a new dog. He still has slip ups every now and again as we continue to adjust in the home, but Platinum K9 and especially his lead trainer Leanne, gave him & me the tools we needed to manage his emotions and reset our relationship. Platinum K9 truly gave me a huge part of my life back, which is a happy and secure Toby.
