Amazing! Very vegan friendly and the best Sunday lunch I've had in my life. Everything tasted fresh and like it had just been cooked. Well worth the money and we'll definitely be back!

Enjoyed a lovely evening dinner. The 10oz rump steak was delicious, cooked to perfection. One of the best cuts I've had. Firmly believe in locally sourced produce. The place is tastefully decorated ready for Xmas. The views in the afternoon are second to none. Dog friendly as well. Will definitely return.

This is a really nice pub in the beautiful Trough of Bowland. The staff were excellent on my visit and I really enjoyed the Steak and Ale pie. This place is well worth a visit if you're in the area. I'd come again.

Absolutely lovely place.Stopped off for something to eat with the other half. Don't even know where to start.I can safely say it's the cleanest place we've stopped for food in recent months .. not a cobweb or spec of dust in sight.Greeted with a warm friendly welcome by one of the owners Kim I think it was. Lovely lady very personable and definitely the hostess with the mostest.Starters: we had the goats cheese and the pate .. the goats cheese was lovely and light and fluffy. Pate was delicious not to strong and a good bread to pate ratio.Mains: We sampled the pies from the specials menu I had chicken, ham hock and shallot pie and the fella had haggis and beef .. both were very tasty, the pastry just melted in the mouth. I don't even like haggis but I loved the pie.We also tried the beef Sunday roast and the BBQ pork which came with coleslaw, chips and salad. The beef was lovely and tender, really well cooked. Loved the little bowl of side veg that was brought out with it .. the parsnips and cauliflower tasted devine.Bbq pork cooked well again knife slid through the pork. The coleslaw was really nice and the home made chips were tasty.Beautiful place, amazing staff, tasty food. Amazing afternoon, looking forward to going back and sampling the Autumn menuThanks for a lovely afternoon kim

I have been on holiday for the week and found 'The Green Man' and I would definitely recommend a visit. As soon as you walk through the door you are welcomed by the friendly staff and homely atmosphere. The pub is spotless, nice drinks, spectacular views and very dog friendly! I havent ate here yet but from what i have seen it looks amazing. I wish I lived closer.

We visited here for the first time after a walk with the dog and it was absolutely lovely! It is also dog friendly and both Kim and Alfie were so accommodating with our dog and in general. The food menu was great, plenty of veggie and vegan options too and all the food was locally sourced and cooked to order. Between us we had a burger, a couple of pies and the halloumi and it was all delicious and we couldn't fault a thing.10/10 for both food and service, we will definitely be returning :)

Found this gem of a pub on our travels.Lovely location and super clean and cared for.Kim is very lovely and the menu is amazing, the additions available are great. Well looked after and vegan options were huge! More than the menu shows. All local source made there and then and tasty, we got vegan coleslaw made for us.Would recommend to everyone and be in that neck of the woods again so we can go back!Thank you everyone for the hospitality

The worst roast dinner I’ve ever eaten. For £17 it was completely overcharged and not what we expected. We were informed the roast beef would be served pink, this wasn’t the case it was well done and dry. The mash potato was sticky and more like glue than mash, and the Yorkshire pudding had turmeric in it…why? To top it off the dish was covered in paprika again, ruined it. The website states “ Our chefs constantly innovate and create bespoke recipes to cook delicious food” if this is the case then please stop. The toilets appear to never have been cleaned, there’s a used roll on deodorant with a sign saying help yourself, no thanks. Won’t be returning. In reply:. We weren’t offered any other alternatives. The offer of “rectifying” wasn’t chosen due to not wanting to wait for another meal that could be as be as potentially disappointing. Meal was ate almost in entirety, it was a small portion and we were hungry, however I can still be disappointed from consuming it.. Agree it may not be everyone’s taste, and it isn’t ours, it was an honest review.
