The New Inn Hotel
We stayed in a dog-friendly room in the annex. It was ideal as the entrance is outside which is perfect for going in & out with a dog. It had a wet room too; good to know we could easily have showered the dog down had she got dirty!The room was generous in size with plenty of storage and a huge king sized bed which was very comfortable plus adequate drink making facilities, tv & WiFi , it even had an ironing board and iron!The staff were really friendly & professional. There was a good range of ales at the bar ; the gourmet dinner menu was very good and the food was excellent and presented to a high standard.As a bonus, the locals that frequented the bar were friendly & welcoming too & we felt we'd made some new friends!We'll be back!!

Called in for a pint after a walk last night, fantastic pub and staff,set in a beautiful location, under new management and will be offering meals shortly, highly recommended.

If you are looking for a country pub with a great choice of food and drink with a relaxed atmosphere, then I recommend this one.Room had everything you need and didn't get too much noise despite being located over the bar/restaurant.Ideally located in Clapham, close to the nature trail.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. My wife and I completed the Yorkshire 3 peaks yesterday. After nearly 12 hours of walking and 3 mountains we were exhausted. Drove to our hotel excited for a bath, food and a rest to find that they had closed and made no attempt to contact us to tell us that they had cancelled our booking (see photo of notice on door). If this place reopens check that management has changed as the current management do not care about their customers. What is more annoying is that the company even messaged us a couple of days ago to confirm that we were still coming. Possibly automated messaging but still a massive swing and a miss from the new inn. IF YOU ARE DOING THE 3 PEAKS DO NOT BOOK HERE!

A fabulous, cosy hotel with great food and excellent service. The village location is lovely with lots of walks directly from the door. I will definitely return.

The New Inn Hotel
Great finding. The new property is absolutely doing their best to run this little inn. We got an amazing last minute deal, which we still find hard to believe after seeing how good it was. The room was huge, so was the bathroom, with shower and a separate bathtub. The food we tried was amazing. I had for dinner the chicken Kiev who was cooked to perfection, and the breakfast, which was included in the room price, was a nice surprise to find out instead of continental, we had several hot dishes to choose from, and not from a buffet, but simply cooked on demand. Stunning stay. Definitely worth coming back.

DO NOT BOOK HERE.My mum booked a two night stay for this weekend. Drove 2 hours and find its shut down for business. There was no attempt to contact her or update her regarding the situation. Extremely poor customer service!!

Lovely warm atmosphere. Nice and cosy by the fire. Very friendly and welcoming to our 3 dogs.
