Jamie is friendly and good at his job, he deserves the money he gets.But the place absolutely needs more staff and up to date status. I booked a cut at 9am because I needed it for 10. Was left waiting for 50 minutes before finally deciding to go somewhere else.If you advertise you will open at 8am have the staff necessary to open at 8. Only a single barber working is not good enough and I bet Jamie breaks his back in that place trying to get everyone by himself.Overall: not reliable. Would only recommend if you are getting a usual trim or haircut, if you are in a hurry go somewhere else.

Came here for a hot towel shave and I have to say, it was easily the worst shave I’ve ever had at a barber shop.The barber himself was friendly for the most part, but he was rather ignorant of what I was chatting to him about (mainly music) and then he only went and put on music I had no desire to listen to. He also said he was mainly into country music, which instantly made me check out from liking him all that much.The actual shave itself was aggressive to an absurd degree, he practically obliterated my chin with the razor he used and nicked me in several places. He did sterilise the cuts and they healed up in no time so I guess that’s something.Establishment itself looked pretty cool, and the price wasn’t too bad, which is why I’m giving it three stars still.All in all, if I ever come back to Manchester, I’ll be giving this place a wide berth.

Everything you would want from a barber, I had my cut with Jamie and it was a big step up from your average for sure.A friendly good chat, nice clean store and good tools but most importantly a skilled barber
