Excellent time spent with Jon and Freddo. Taught my daughter and I the basics of throwing in no time at all. We have a wheel at home so no stopping us now. We will definitely be visiting again for more lessons.

I have been here a few times and it’s always a wonderful experience! I’ve attended one of the throwing weekends with Jon French (amazing potter) as well as collecting free (YES FREE) samples of clay but that’s not the best bit, when I was admiring the room with all the art a beautiful blue frenchie dog came bombing towards me and insisted on a fuss. Best Monday EVER

Really excellent range of clays from Valentine's and always helpful. Although I live 'down south' I did visit them and they have a very useful display 'gallery' of work by potters – well worth a look. With more potters firing at lower temperatures could consider to develop some dedicated cone 6 clays to ensure vitrification. I'd like to see a rich coloured cone 6 stoneware clay with a little tooth – a sort of mix of ES5 and terracotta maybe?

My lovely clay delivery came before expected and was well packaged. Extra special thanks to the lady from the team (think her name was Sian?) who picked up on the fact that my husband had put 2 orders in in error and cancelled one of them and refunded us. How good is that for customer service. Also, ordered some free samples of clay to try, which is brilliant! Will definitely be ordering again.
