Still as good as ever, been living away from Bristol for a few years and what a joy to come back to Jay's delicious cooking. Best curry in Bristol and really good value. Lovely people too

A fantastic, authentic Take away. The menu is small, but the food and service are excellent. A lot of care and skill has gone into these dishes. £7 for a meat curry, rice and a naan cannot be argued with!

Wonderful and distinctive curry, certainly not your average takeout. The owners are so lovely and friendly they made my 3yr old a special mix of curry for his first curry and it was on the house. Highly recommend.

I ran in here to shelter from pouring rain and wow what a gem I found! The owner is the loveliest person I’ve met in a long time. So caring, kind and warm. 1000% made my day. Great, homely food as well. A win-win :)I also love the fact that the whole menu is free from all of the most common allergens!

Thought we’d try this this vegetarian takeaway out based on all the good reviews but are really dissapointed. Our first taste was of a sweet sauce. Not really something you would associate with Indian street food. The vegetarian curries had little in the way of fresh vegetables. Mostly small mushy pieces and slightly undercooked beans/lentils. With the mix of curries in one container it all just mushed into one. Would be nicer to separate out the curries. The chapatis were not made in the restaraunt. They are the sort of the ones you buy in supermarkets but resold in this place - big let down. Portions could be more generous so not good value for money. The lady serving who I think is the owner was really nice but the food infortunatelty has failed to live up to the hype of the reviews.

My first curry from Tiffins last night and I must say, I enjoyed it very much. The lady owner was very friendly and happy to go through all the food available (that she cooks herself on the premises). The food is cooked without using gee and lots of oils so a much healthier curry is more of a bonus. I will definitely be going back again.

I’m a short term visitor to Bristol, but I’m sure I’ve had lunch from here almost every week during my three months. Quick and easy take away, and the food is just so tasty and filling. The large box with rice and two curries is my go to, and there’s a wonderful cycle of different curries across the week. Really delicious and great value I think. Nice to support a lovely local business.
