Caring team of professionals, lovely receptionist always welcomes with a smile and a post vet visit treat. My dog gets extremely nervous on the table, and the vets always have the patience with her which is always appreciated.

Having to take a beloved pet to the vet can be a nerve racking experience, but the treatment my cat has been given has been excellent. I was especially anxious having to take her to Cockermouth for an anaesthetic and dental work because she is 16 with some kidney problems. I needn't have worried as she sailed through it with the care she received. I have been kept informed every step of the way and even had a post op phone call from a vetinary nurse on the Saturday after her anasthetic. Top marks Millcroft.

Alfie dog visits both Aspatria and Cockermouth practices. While lively and happy at the moment, Alfie has a congenital heart defect (Patent Ductus Arteriosus) and a Grade 6 heart murmur, so, when he’s under the weather, as he has been lately with gastroenteritis-like symptoms, I become even more hyper-vigilant than usual and I find all the Millcroft team super reassuring and calm and professional, In Cockermouth we usually see Julie, who specialises in animal cardiology, and who has taught me so much about PDA, and in Aspatria we see Andrew. Thank you team Millcroft. Alfie is feeling so much better. ♥️

As always a brilliant service. We took our dog to see the vet because he had a very bad stomach upset and was really down in the dumps. Our dog is a rescue" animal. He is a very reactive and intimidating type

All the Staff are so pleasant and the vets are so good with my pet, even with the most invasive treatments my pet is as relaxed as he could be and isn't frightened of going back

I took our Collie Rosie in for her second Librella injection recently. The receptionist knew her name and gave us the usual friendly welcome. We had just enough time to check her weight before the vet was ready for us. He had given her the first injection and, having carefully checked her general condition and asked me about the effects of the first injection, explained what he was going to do, and how we would manage withdrawal from Fluoxetine. The injection was done in a matter of seconds without any problem. He then wrote down the details of the withdrawal plan and made sure that I understood them. The whole experience showed the friendly and professsional approach that this practice is well known for locally.

Thank you for the prompt and professional service on our last visit. Arthur, a nervous dog, excitable dog, barely flinched having his nose spray and injection on Friday. Thank you Andrew you are a star.

I have used this local Veterinary group, the Aspatria branch for nearly three years to take medical care of my six year old black tabby Molly. With the annual inoculations and flea treatments being available on a healthplan. The staff are friendly and helpful after being lost in the county with directions following a road closure.I would thoroughly recommend you consider this company as an option to take care of your pet.
