Ho Mei chinese take away

Ive enjoyed food here, its absolutly beautiful, not a problem here ....

My first and last!!!! jeeze might as well have let my tenner fly out of the window don’t know why this as got nearly 5 stars it’s terrible and the chips tasted e well I can’t be bothered!!!! Not good when you’re hungry!!!

I give this place 4/5 I ordered a (1). special black bean which was nice full of different meat with onions, carrots, peppers and more in a nice black bean sauce. very nice on the pallet with the undertones of nice cooked meats worth getting. (2) also the chips was nice and cooked and wasn’t the soggy Chinese flat door step chips you normally get so definitely worth getting (NOTE I don’t know if they fluctuate between the 2 different chips I’m judging on the ones I got) (3) the curry sauce was slightly watery which moved the ratings a little (4) the Singapore fried rice was decent enough in a large tray with good amounts of meat to rice ratio and was well fried without the the clumps of uncooked/un-fried rice you normally get on a whole I found it good and worth a try..

The worst food ever, the beef was really chewy, the salt and pepper wings were overcooked and tasted old, I threw most of mine the bin so it was waste ofmy money. Thankfully my sons food was edible and he got to eat unlike me who still feels hungry. P.S I ended up with food poisoning from the bit that I did eat so I will never order from here again for as long as I live, disgusting.

Seems to go downhill every time i order from this place. The food was fast and certainly hot enough but for the price it was incredibly mediocre. Had better chinese food from places that serve it cheaper.Chicken was cooked properly and warm but it barely tasted of anything.What's the point in having salt and pepper chicken if you don't even include peppers or onions in the tray?

I have struggled to find a decent Chinese takeaway for a while..now I have .Ho mei is consistently serving up tasty and fresh tasting dishes the service is friendly and the delivery service is prompt I really cannot complain..Well done Ho Mei..10/10

Been my regular for years now, food is very consistently good, feel disappointed whenever I have to order a Chinese from elsewhere

Since double happiness on manchester road shut I have been looking for another Chinese take away. I have tried lots but all have been very disappointing. I tried Ho Mei on wibsey high street today and was very pleased great food great flavours only criticism I can give is the chips could of done with being cooked a little bit longer

First time ordering from here. Food arrived ahead of time frame given, however, the food was not piping hot. The bags used for chips/spring rolls were wet through which to me means that my order had been sat waiting to go before it went. No complaints on the food itself though as it was tasty and I will probably order again but I think I'll collect next time.

Nice food. A little too salty.Personal opinion, though.I do recommend.
