A car park with some picnic tables. No toilets and no cafe. Good location though. Some day somebody will build a hiking centre with toilets, cafe and accommodation and you’ll think to yourself “ About time.”

Good sized car park with plenty of space and picnic benches. Great starting point for a family walk or hike. The ulster way passes by. Shame there are no public toilets.

1 of the GOT locations -head off on path to the right ,up towards the trees , great car park with picnic facilities - wild camping a possibility- no toilets .low barrier ,so certain vans can't park but can park along side of road .

Plenty of spaces to park, with grass areas that you could in theory camp on. Most people walk down the path onto the mountain and camp near the Leitrim river that flows at the western edge of the car park. A track leads out of the car park, giving access to Rocky Mountain (405m), forested Altataggart mountain (420m) and rocky outcrop Pierces Castle.

Good sized car park (20+ spaces), gives you a good base for a walk in the Mournes. Picnic tables and plenty of bins provided. Enjoy the walk and take in the peace and tranquility!
