Paul and team from Hudson installed a new heating system and bathroom in my Victorian terrace house. The work was done to a very high standard.The few snagging issues which naturally emerge in a complex project such as ours were dealt with within a day or two and without any fuss. Communication was very good indeed. They were prompt, friendly, organised and tidy. I recommend them thoroughly.

Hudson did a full re-furb on our very old outdated bathroom, and replaced it with a wonderful new wet room. Couldn't fault the professionalism and workmanship. The various workmen were punctual and always friendly. Totally happy with all the work and the company in general.

This is a honest review and reflection of how the work went for a wet room fitting of a shower tray and flooring. (Was a 4 star until water leak) Did our Engineer turn up at the agreed date & time?Score 1Was our Engineer polite & courteous?Score 5How satisfied were you with the service provided? Score 4.5Was the works completed on time? Score not given as no time scale was toldWas your property left clean & tidy at the end of the works? Score 4. When we was cleaning we found silicone all over the toilet seat, this caused us to get slight scratches whilst trying to remove the silicone, which is a shame seeing it was brand new Brian first came to sort out the hand rail.Would you be happy to use Hudson Plumbing & Heating Services again? Score 4.5.Additional Comments:Comment to Point 1 as to why such a low score. The office said First the fitters had a little Job to do on Monday morning but they would be with us in the morning, at 10:30 Am No Show but the Office Said the Same as before, they Showed up at 13:30 Started at 14:00 Left around 4pm.The flooring is missing the 3rd Joint weld by the door threshold and it was not stuck down correctly going up the wall on the Right Side of wall, but clear silicone was used on this join which doesn’t look good when all the other joins are done correctly. We are very concerned the floor join will cause issues in the future. Floor Fitter was heard to Say he made a mistake there to the bathroom fitter. Paul saw this on his visit to sign off the whole job and said the floor fitter will have to come back to resolve this. (When he came back he admitted he was rushing to get onto the plane so have 2 weld joints In floor instead of 1.) inch lAlso there is issues with the window reveal as on the right side there there is a cracked bottom corner, which Paul knows about (as this was pointed out to him when he came back to sort out the leak)and said he would get sorted, but while cleaning it was noticed that the right side hasn’t been cut to the correct depth as the wife can get her finger in the gap between the tile and the trim, the one side is not sat in correctly causing there to be excessive silicone in the corners for example, bottom left is the same width as the wife’s little finger.Also I was just reminded about the 2 fitters that came out on the Monday afternoon names I am not sure of the trainee plumber but the main guy was Kevin, there was a comment made that I overheard which was don’t do too much we want to leek this job out.Thank you for the work your company has done. There has been some bad points as stated above but also there were some good parts so that you. I hope the points listed above helps your company to learn and improve.Also firstly promised a wider and longer shower tray but there was a concrete joist there so couldn’t do a wider tray but could have have been longer but now left with half the length I’m use to, ( this is me being picky)Rework needed as they caused a leak in the loft which caused a stain which Hudson came out fixed the leak and someone had to come out and only put stain block on area affected and not the whole ceiling.Roughly 10 days after work was done we found a water leak on the hot water pipe which was causing rust type stains on the newly fitted tiles and grout. Was told to call out bristol council, (even though I was told all work was guaranteed for 2 years). The council came out the fault was due to a poorly fitted shower which was replaced just before the shower tray. The pipe was on too steep an angle, the ceiling should have been cut out for pipes to be straighter and the olive wouldn’t have been damaged. Also had to fix a leaking water stop tap that was leaking, seems Hudson fitter would have know this was they the tap wasn’t turned on fully it was turned back as to where the tap didn’t leak).So have now got mixed feelings for the work that has been done and the fitters that came to do the work. I’ve been a regular customer of Hudsons for over 10 years and cannot fault the service. I’ve used them for heating, kitchen, bathroom installations, drain clearance and emergency call-outs when I’ve been away from home and everything has been managed professionally and timely. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, the team from Ian down to Kim and the office staff are friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work guys!

Hudson Plumbing were excellent. They recently fixed both our washing machine (which was leaving standing water), and our electrics (which needed new pendants and some wiring). It was all very quick and efficient, and the individuals who carried out the works were very friendly. Would definitely recommend

Adrian at Hudson was very friendly and professional. He came by to repair our gas stove. The repair was done in two appointments, the 2nd following promptly after the first. Reasonably priced and the office team were also great to deal with. Will definitely use again

I have recently had Hudson come to correct a horrific wet-room installation by another company that went terrible wrong and took a year to complete with 11 different workers.The other company left me with leaking toilet, sink, and shower, all of which poured through the ceiling of my kitchen.Over a 2 year period of leaking, it damaged the kitchen ceiling causing it to droop and water damaging a 6x2 foot area.Hudson came in, stripped and rebuilt the bathroom, also fixing the kitchen ceiling only utilising 3 professional workmen over a 5 day period in total.At all times, we were left with a useable toilet and sink, and after each working day they cleaned their mess and tools. They had a very professional manner, communicated very clearly, always punctual, and understanding with the animals in my property.I would highly recommend this company, for the work they did in my property. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome.

This lot work for council. This lot fraudulently did work in a house for a disabled family and wrecked the house, not only did they wreck the house they got paid for works they didn't do (they did something else altogether) and this lot also takes out suitable toilet for disabled woman and replaced it with a toilet that caused the disable womanharm.
