White Gables Care Home

I have spent a short 24hrs at White Gables and while the building is a little dated, it is kept absolutely spotless. I recently visited the care home with my partner to visit her loving grandad whom was receiving palliative care. We arrived at about 3am after driving for 3 hours and without any hesitation the staff were on hand to help and make us welcome and comfortable. They focussed every action around her grandad and his loved ones, putting us all & grandad first at every conversation, no ask too much. Despite the recent challenging times within care homes, the attitudes of all the staff were stalwart & unfaltering. Thank you all at White Gables. You will not be forgotten and thank you for caring so much for grandad.

Lovely place

I looked at many care homes for my father and it was a real eye opener!! But I struck gold when we decided on whitegables. The home is warm friendly and the staff fantastic always cheery. The food is plentiful and looks lovely. His room always clean and tidy. They keep me updated and he is not the most easiest of clients to care for but they do a fantastic job. Even one of the girls nipped in her lunch break to fetch him his favourite drink from the local shop. So 5 stars to all the staff.
