Halfway through my membership my home club parted company with PMG so I was unable to book via the app or add more points. I requested to be moved to another home club but PMG did nothing to assist. Now my account with my home club has been suspended although my membership only expires 31 December with still 8 points left......absolutely shocking

In the evening I received an error message while booking a game and my account was debited twice. First thing in the morning, I received a call confirming that the credit has been refunded and was assisted with the booking. Thank you for the efficient and friendly service.

Users of PlayMoreGolf beware!We all know how difficult 2020 was and many if not all of us will have lost many months access to courses due to closure in the pandemic. Our year went from bad to worse as a family member was diagnosed with cancer towards the end of my membership and some points went unused.I enquired about a carry over of points due to covid and was told by email that this would be ‘considered’ when I renewed. I renewed and enquired about the 5 point credit, just 5 points! only to be told that they had ‘considered’ things but that they would not be crediting them after all. Talk about feeling mislead, given the pandemic I know of no other company who has not offered customers some flexibility, PlayMoreGolf must be the exception to the rule.Quite why points have a 12 month expiry I’ve no idea, you are buying time on the course which they must already have purchased or contracted with their choice of clubs.Quite a disappointing, misleading, inflexible and ultimately unsatisfactory experience all round.- took 11 months to reply to review. They didn’t extend the membership by 12 months. The quality of their reply and length of time says it all about the level of customer service this company offers.

I was charged ~R1200 after canceling subscriptions with them, and they are not providing any feedback on the matter. Additionally, when I signed up I was promised that my joining fee (R799 X 2) would be loaded as credits on the two accounts I signed up for, but that never happened.

Put my renewal price up after several years of loyal membership when it wasn't all brilliant. Our first club wouldn't even let us use the app to book rounds! Price put up this year as last year's renewal price included a 'covid discount' despite almost all restrictions being gone at renewal time. Zero recognition of members like myself and my playing partner that remained members DESPITE COVID. Shocking. Not renewed this time. Staff not bothered by this one bit.

I purchased a subscription for my husband for Christmas. Unfortunately part way through his membership he developed a health condition unexpectantly which prevented him from playing. My husband received an email last week saying that his membership was about to expire that day and he would lose his 64 points if he didnt renew. We contacted his home club who said contact PMG. PMG had a discusion with the home club. Initially there appeared to be confusion over what we were requesting but once we explained the situation, we agreed on a 2 month extention. Was happy with the outcome.

This has been excellent for me and my son to play at a decent local course. Just started our second year. Good access to our home course and they treat us like full members. Perhaps a few more away course choices would be good.

After nine months of membership my home club has stopped online booking for play more golf membership. It is clearly advertised as booking via the app.Visitors can book on line yet even after paying up front I can not.Better off with no membership and booking casual.Contacted play more golf before posting review to give them an opportunity to put this right but basically told it’s tough S**tUntil they can treat paying members with respect and up hold their side of the agreement I will not be touching PlayMoreGolf golf ever again

Advertised that i would be joining my 'home club' and be treated as a 'genuine member'... this isnt the case. The members get the tee off times as they can book 2 weeks in advance, me and my friends through PlayMoreGolf have 1 week, all AM tee off times go every single week leaving nothing for us. 4.45pm for example is my only option this sunday.PlayLessGolf or CostMore2Play would be better suited.So then i thought, we could play the competition and get in that way. The club advised you cant enter a club competition as a PlayMoreGolf member.If you want to play at 6.30pm on a Tuesday night, its probably a good membership for 4 months of the year.Its a bit of a scam though and their website wording versus reality of what you can do is frustrating.Also, if youre from the North east of England they are only attached to clubs which are run down, struggling or on their way out (Consett for example being sold to a housing company)We wont be joining again, 6 memberships gone.Please dont reply to this saying contact customer services i already have, you offered no solutions or real answers just t&c's

Just finished the first year as a play more golf member.Our home club on a day to day basis treats us the same as any club members.Yes, you dont get all the benefits and privileges that full club members do, but if you want that join the waiting list and pay the £1000+ membership fee and the joining fee for that privilege!As once/twice a week fair weather golfers, PMG is perfect for us! This was our first year and its been a great year and will continue our membership for the foreseeable future!We've used to flex points (and then bought some more) to play at other clubs in the area and it worked out a treat. No issues booking tee time online or checking in at the clubhouse and less than 1/2 the prices of visitor green fees at some courses!
