The station was clean and tidy. There is a ticket line at this station, but at 5pm it was left open with no staff around to provide assistance. It's very easy to change from the metro services to the national rail services at this station, however it could be made easier with additional signage (and perhaps a painted line on the floor to follow for the 2 minute walk. The service is regular, however due to the current aging fleet, there are issues with the reliability of services at the moment, with many trains running late or not turning up. The network as a whole is clearly suffering from chronic underinvestment, but appears to be doing it's best to pull through the struggle.

Could do with some improvements. Often dirty and covered with grafiti.

Very good. Close to the least used station in Newcastle. Pretty much empty most of the time

Good as it can get for metro. Nothing special but nothing bad. Not very clean and tidy but you don't expect much.

Nothing special about this station, if you are going into town and don’t want to go to monument it is only a short walk. Opposite Manors national rail station; trains for, Chathill, Morpeth, Cramlington, Newcastle, Metrocentre, Hexham and Carlisle. There are no facilities apart from ticket machines at the metro station. Trains are supposed to be every 12 minutes but I am sad to say that is not true. If you are heading in the Byker direction and there is a long wait time, there is a bus stop near by.
