JH Plastering

I contacted John who was very polite & helped with what I wanted to achieve in my budget, excellent quality of work definitely good value for cost .I Had large room plastered all in one day by John who was Extremely friendly & years experienced & very thorough with his work. I Would highly recommend for any of his services .

Had two ceilings plastered over some awful artex, great job done by John, clean tidy, very helpful and a really nice bloke!

John was booked for Thursday, then when we needed him earlier on the Tuesday he was very accomodating. Did a thorough and neat job on a whole kitchen shell for us. He made an effort to use a water proof under layer, as we had some mould on one wall. Really great value for money, especially as he ended up coming in for 2 days to do a proper neat and thorough job filling in a big hole along with some chases for new pipes and electrical fittings. Will definitely be using for all future plastering jobs.

John recently plastered ceiling and walls in my sons room, he did a great job and the room looks like new. He was very polite, tidy, always on time and explained clearly what needed to be done and the costs involved. He also made contact a couple of weeks after finishing the job to make sure everything was ok which I thought was a lovely touch.

John does an excellent job and he is very pleasant to be around. We agreed that it would take two days to fix a wall I took tiles off from, but he completed it within one day working insanely hard for 12 hours. I highly recommend his services. Thank you John!!

Before I start my review, I would like to say that I have over 40 experience working in the building and construction, therefore, I would like to think that I know quite a bit about different trades.John, is a really special breed . I can describe him as ‘a school or a good old fashion tradesman’: Honest, reliable , skilful , very experienced, polite and a joy to work with. His price was very reasonable too.He communicated with me before he stated the job to ensure that a few preparation need be done prior to commencement. Would I use him again ? Would I recommend to any one who wants plastering job ? Definitely. Many thanks , John for an excellent work.

John is a genuinely Nice man who really puts lots of effort into his work. His on time, honest, reasonably priced and had lots of experience. We will only use john now for any plastering or other related type jobs. Highly recommend. Thanks John

John was recommended to me, and am so pleased that he was !After my kitchen move / refurb , the “old kitchen” area, was in much need of skim / re plaster.The ceiling I wanted was a “smooth look”. ….as I had a “snowy peak, Christmas cake effect”John scrapped off, the Sandtex, and only find more swirls underneath ……John assured me it was not an issue, and although ceiling took longer than anticipated.He worked extremely hard, and covered up the floors to keep mess to the minimum.My “ old kitchen walls and ceiling” has dried out, completely, in just under a week.It has an amazing, silky smooth finish.He has contacted me, since finishing the job, to see if everything is ok - which , I think, is a nice thing to do!Needless to say , I am 100% pleased - thank. U John.John is professional, and friendly, in his work. He is punctual, and keeps you updated as he works A reasonable price for a five star plasterer .Cannot recommend him enough!

John was an absolute star… called him in the afternoon and was at the house in less than half an hour.Great tradesman and great guy! Work was completed in an hours to a great standard.Would definitely use John’s services again!!
