Formula One Autocentres - Bristol (Longwell Green)

Can't recommend these guys highly enough. I was desperate for an MOT and was let down by Halford Autocentre across the road, who booked my car in and then claimed they couldn't fit my Tesla on their MOT ramp when I turned up.Formula One were open on Sunday, were able to fit me in ASAP, didn't talk down to me because I've got an EV (wouldn't believe the drivel I've heard from some other garages), they even had the foresight to order in Tesla pads so they could jack the car properly without damaging the battery. They guys clearly know what they're doing, and treated me like a human being who needed some help. Well done guys. Would highly recommend.

Used to use this garage quite frequently, booked my car in for a full service and MOT a while back and got told I had a bunch of problems and it would cost nearly £600, but out of “good will” they gassed the air con for free. When I checked the invoice, I’d been charged for the air con, which now doesn’t work anymore when it was working perfectly fine. I also experienced a few issues, took it to another garage to find that I had no service done at all. The spark plugs that they charged me for hadn’t been changed, I had no oil or filter change and no coolant top up and my coolant was nearly empty! All in all I literally paid £600 for them to damage my air con unit.

The team here were incredibly helpful and quick to resolve an issue for me, fitting me in even on a busy day. The team was friendly and knowledgeable, and the price was excellent.The site has good parking and is easily reached. If you need to wait with the car, the waiting room is nice with toilets and a drinks machine. There are also cafes (Costa, Greggs, Subway) all around, and you could even do your shopping.

I was desperate for an MOT as I realised mine had ran out and I rely on my car for commuting to work. I was originally going to wait until Thursday to go to a different garage which was highly recommended by family, however because I work mon-fri this wasn’t very convenient so thought I would take a chance and call Formula one auto centre if they had earlier availability. Called at 2pm and booked an appointment for 2:30pm the same day! Will admit I was nervous as they hadn’t been recommended and noticed some negative MOT experience reviews online, also I am a young girl and this was the first time I’ve had to get an MOT for my car, but my experience was FAR from negative. From start to finish the customer service was incredible, whoever I spoke to on the phone was lovely and the two men who greeted me were very welcoming, they took my car as soon as I arrived. The waiting time was minimal. I would have no concerns about them trying to get money out of you as they even admitted that my car should have failed instantly due to some pipe issue (I don’t know much about cars) but they sorted the issue there and then and only charged me £40 in total and passed me with 2 advisories. Think these guys deserve more credit where it’s due. Would not hesitate to go there for any services they offer. Thanks so much for the speedy service, it was extremely appreciated.

Went to have 2 tyres fitted very friendly staff prices very good nice clean and tidy waiting room thanks formula.

I have been using this branch for both my cars for 10 years and I have yet to find reason to complain. I always get a 1st class service and great advise when needed. I will continue to use Autocentres for all my needs

I booked my car in for MOT after using this garage previously. After waiting for it to go through the guy came through the door in the waiting room and was so incredibly rude. He talked down to me and was erm do you think that's going to pass like that . In front of everyone else. He continues to talk down to me and embarrass me. He never explained all the points to me either on my certificate or offered to fix the work that needed to be done.I honestly have never been so disgusted by how little customer service this certain member of staff had. it is totally not acceptable. I put in a complaint through the system and its been ignored .After this I took my car to a local garage who had to do my entire MOT again because they had done it incorrectly. They failed me on something that didn't need to be fixed. They also put a long list of advisories on that were not even needed. These guys work on commission ! do not go here you are better of taking it to a local garage.

Can't praise these guys enough.Not all hero's wear capes.5.30 and we're stuck in Bristol after a job with a 2hr journey home with a flat.Managed to get it to them and they jumped straight on it, no messing.Unlike both the Quickfits we rang to ask for help in the area who didn't want to know as they wanted to go home on time.

Great service, rang to enquire about a valve replacement - was told to head up anytime. Valve was replaced within 15 minutes. Friendly and professional, thank you ⭐️
