They truly do not deserve even one star. One particular doctor is very rude, his bedside manner is atrocious, his approach to a patient is thoughtless and uncaring. He has no thought for his patients health and wellbeing.

It's a shame really. I use to speak highly of this doctors for all the help they've given me during my visits but it's so hard to actually get an appointment. Thy say they fixed the appointment system but I went two weeks ago to arrange an appointment and I would of had to wait until the END OF MAY well that doesn't sound very fixed. I have been on the phone RIGHT now since half 8 and it's 8:47 to try and get an appointment but by this rate I won't be able to actually get one. Sort yourselves out.

Phoned at 8am, 30 minutes later no appointments, told to phone 8am following day, probably to be told no again, asked about online booking, she said the line was bad and hung up on me. looked to book online and it says contact surgery for user name and password, joke. After 34 years decided to move doctors, it's ridiculous, they need to change their system, I didn't need same day appointment just to book in would have been fine.

Couldnt get an appointment for weeks and when I finally got one I received a text messaging saying I'd cancelled?. After waiting 45 minutes to actually speak to someone was told by reception that a DR Hicken has cancelled my appointment. Rebook for following week, cancelled again but couldnt tell me by who. 7 weeks later and I'm still without an appointment. Call at 8am, caller number 2, to be told no available appointments. No permanent doctors, you dont know who your seeing from one doctor to the next. Was such a lovely surgery when Dr single and Downes were there. These clowns havnt got a clue. The walk in centre is better if you need to actually be seen by someone.

Dr Hicken is the worst doctor! Does not have a clue what she is doing, constantly prescribes antibiotics for absolutely anything rather than addressing the problem. Antibiotics for a seizure? Never puts referrals to the hospital so waited a year for nothing. Made a complaint so now she cancels every appointment I make on the system. So I cannot even get in to see any doctor which made my condition worse. Now in the process of talking to solicitors. She is a bully and I've heard other patients complain about her too. Changed doctors last week thank God.AVOID AVOID AVOID

Only giving this a one star as I have no option to give no stars. This doctors is disgusting. You can just about get an appointment. The reception staff are so rude and unhelpful. As for the doctors, I have to see a different doctor every time which isn’t what I need, I used to love seeing Dr downes or dr skingle. I’ve been signed off with anxiety and depression, been back today because I feel no better and I’ve been made to feel worse. The doctor was no help at all she was quite rude and questioned why I need more time off and tried to onlyGive me a few days signed off.No option about changing my tablets as I feel they aren’t working any longer, just to give it moreTime but expects me to go back to work when I feel awful.After I had a debate about this with the receptionist which was very upsetting and embarrassing for me with my anxiety they changed my note, but this shouldn’t have happened. Been with this surgery for all of my life and I have never been able to get an appointment in recent years for anything other than 2 weeks from when I call. Very poor for my years of being with Kingsmount.

Worst practice i know!! Fobbed my Mom off with no appointments available everytime she rang for months! She’s now in Good Hope on end of life care!!! If you can find another surgery, LEAVE!!!

I honestly do not understand how some people have difficulty with this practice.My first appointment was booked for 3 weeks in the future. also booked an appointment with the Nurse for 3 weeks in the future too (in the middle of the August which can be difficult to get appointments in)I've also been in to the practice and been able to get appointments for the next week with no issues. I also had to book for a blood test and was able to get an appointment the same week at the practice for it - I have always had to go to another place for blood tests so this was so easy to just attend the practice!The Doctors I have seen are professional and helpful. Receptionist are happy to help when you approach the reception. The Nurse is lovely also!
