Fabulous selection of first class Wines and more everyday varieties too. Alan was a font of knowledge and as always, first rate service and professionalism throughout my visit. I highly recommend.

Magnificent shop, you really must visit if you are in Bath.Their customer service is very good, from speed of delivery to the personal service from the staff, to swift resolution of problems. Not the cheapest though - you can buy their own proprietary wines for Con siderably less elsewhere unless they've got a sale on : a quirk of the wine industry. But with some of these other places, you pays your money and you takes your chance.

Reasonably priced alcohol and a nice accurate delivery to the West Midlands. We had some communication with customer service after one of our bottles was incorrect however, we had a prompt response and the situation was made right immediately with the correct bottle arriving a day or two after. Hence why I would not mark them down, their positive and helpful;attitudes even during the lock down meant we did not have any inconvenience our end. Thanks guys!

Went in yesterday to spend just under £100 on wine. Clearly this wasn’t enough money as I’ve never felt like such a pleb. The person serving me, who I’d explained what gifts I was needing to buy, had started choosing some bottles for me, he then just ditched me to go and join the THREE other members of staff who were already schmoozing another (big budgeted) customer to within an inch of their lives.Another member of staff was then helping me, and we had to start over. My time clearly of no consequence. He even commented that I ‘looked stressed and confused’. Um no, that would be flabbergasted. At the blatant dismissal of me and my custom. But don’t worry. You’ll be relieved to hear I won’t come back. Next time I’ll go to Bargain Booze where clearly you felt I’d be better suited.

Great selection of wine and spirits. Knowledgeable, understanding and friendly staff who know their stock immaculately.... they also show great patience with all the local Bath wine 'experts' who love to talk loudly at them about their purchases and endless wine knowledge. Whatever they are being paid, it isn't enough to put up with that all day!

Good prices... However that's if they actually post you anything. It's been two weeks with no response to emails and chasing. Looking at their Facebook page, there are a lot of people also in the same boat. They are able to updates posts, however yet to post anything. Will update review if I get anywhere.Edit, took two weeks to post. But finally here.Easy transaction, very good price, but just needs to work on Comms. Will probably buy again.

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE.Great Wine charged me £17.75 a bottle for some Abanico Reserva 2016, Casa da Passarella. Subsequently, when reading up about the wines I had bought from them I discovered that the same wine was available in numerous other outlets for around half the price - in one for only €8.49 (£7.07 approx).When I drew their attention to the discrepancy in the pricing they said that was my look out!So, if using this supplier, my advice would be remember to check out on the web the price of each and every bottle before proceeding with a purchase.

Been using the great wine co., on line for years for deliveries to my family in Bath. Was great to finally visit the physical store! Super friendly & knowledgeable! Nice to find something a bit different, at really reasonable prices.

Amazing customer service from Amy, really on the ball and cares that customers receive their order. Helped resolve a delivery issue caused by a third party, very impressed. Plus the product I wanted was unique and I have struggled to find in the UK so will definitely order again!

This is a fantastic wine shop, and I say that as someone who works in the trade. The selection is vast and of high quality; I could have spent hours perusing the shelves. They also offer some great deals on bin ends. Service is outstanding.
