Ok so it's a nice museum. Loads of great history BUT, where is the rest of the castles history, Mary queen of Scots? Jacobites?I feel like this was left out and that's why we came to this castle to learn about ALL the history.It's still a great museum with lots of interesting things.Cafe is small and expensive.

This is excellent for its size. Information from 1700s to present day. Good displays and information boards. Staff helpful and will answer any questions.Didn't pay as its included in my English Heritage membership so can't comment on admission price but seem to think it was quite reasonable

Great little exhibition, with several mannequins, well laid out and stocked displays from past to present day.Some interactive displays were down but still several areas with screens and narrations.Very friendly and helpful staff.Entry fee charged but some free entry for certain criteria including English Heritage members.

Really great place to visit all of the displays were great to look at, with clear descriptions all the staff were very friendly gift shop was great also would highly recommend visiting this place

While the museum is certainly interesting to military history fans, I can't say I was happy with my visit. Member of staff that was checking my tickets, when she heard my accent said something about language difficulties". Well

Great trip up to the museum during the first week of half term to see John Sadlers Time Bandits who were doing a workshop in the museum.John and Beverley's stories and knowledge definitely entertained JamesAfter the workshop the boys enjoyed the museum and playing with the interactive games
