TPS Motorcycles

Bike went in for piston rings to be replaced, then after inspection said the barrel and piston needed to be replaced as well, so I done as they asked and ordered the parts for them, dropped the parts in, two days later they call to tell me now that the whole engine will need work as they couldn’t seem to get the piston off of the con rod, not happy as wasn’t looking to spend extortionate amounts of money to fix problems that weren’t there before they took my bike into the garage.Now left with my bike in bits in a box all unorganised, had to go back twice as they forgot to give me some of my new parts and paid £100 on top of everything for wasted time and a whole load of extra problems to deal with.On top of all of bus they also tried to make out I had been riding it dry without any oil in the engine, even though I had checked the oil level and even topped it up slightly so I knew there was plenty enough oil in the engine.And they even tried to offer me £500 to take it off me (minus what I had to pay for the time they spent on it) it’s a 2016 Yamaha WRX and was in great condition apart from worn tyres and needing new piston rings so worth more than that so they added insult to injury.Would stay far away from this garage, been to several others across East Sussex and never had any problems, but here they’ve wasted my time, charged me for it and made the bike 10 times worse and problems that weren’t there in the first place. I'm very happy to have just received great service from TPS Motorcycles. Sorted my tyres for me and mot'd next day.Some shops/garages just don't get it (the importance of friendly customer service). This one does and I fully recommend it.

awesome place, guy in there is so friendly and understanding after part of my kit was stolen. very close to Polegate station aswell! quick phone call then a very informative conversation about what my options were and price points. so so helpful and I highly reccommend

I cannot praise the guys at TPS enough. Always friendly and approachable. If you need your motorcycle serviced, repaired or mot'd I would highly recommend them.

Got stuck in Eastbourne with problems with my Wildstar. Battery had died and didn't charge anymore. The guys from TPS ordered a new voltage regulator for me and came to fix it on site ! What a service from the guys at TPS !!! Greatly appreciated and gave us at least a couple of days touring the South of England without worries ! I have been in to tps a couple of time in the last couple of months,I can't recommend them enough, great staff, friendly, and hard working.James helped me with a problem I was having with my nc and within 10 minutes he had found the problem and fixed it.Honestly won't be taking my bikes anywhere else after how they have looked after me.Thank you guys.

Excellent customer service, have used previously and booked this year's MOT, but bike didn't start, so couldn't make it. Called TPS to cancel, and it was no problem. Rebooked a few days later and MOT arranged and done. Nice, friendly garage!

It's so nice to have a motorcycle garage that you feel that you can completely trust.I have owned quite a few different motorcycles over the last 6 years and I've been able to take them in TPS with all different problems or extras that i'd purchased and couldn't fit and James & Tim have fixed them or sorted them out time and time again.Thanks for the super service.

This is a message to David Brown regarding the review you done on TPS motorcycles I think there was some very unfair comments in what you said I have used Tps motorcycles for many years and would 100% recommend them to anybody as for you saying that they offered you £500 for your bike that was actually me personally as I was in the shop at the time when the problem was discovered with your bike also I feel that my offer of £500 was very fair due to your bike needing quite a bit of work that I notice myself and I’m not even a mechanic such as tires brake pads rear tail light numberplate holder as you have made one out of a bit of wood The list could probably go on I apologise if I offended you with my offer of £500 but I don’t feel the shop should be penalised when it was myself that Ask the staff at Tps to put that offer to you
