An amazing and truly interesting collection, partially for an English person to see the role of the Scottish army in the world wars and prior conflicts. Staff were friendly and amazing; entry is free!100% recommend

Great museum detailing the history of the regiment pre and post amalgamation. Just a shame they're hardly ever open. We visited today and was told they were closed, but they let us in for a little bit anyway which was nice. Had to rush though sadly as wanted to spend more time here and learn more about my great great grandfathers old regiment (HLI).I just hope that the museum will extend its opening days/times to weekends? Seems a shame to have so much history and yet barely a chance for visitors to appreciate it.

Amazing amazing experience. The museum is free entry and staff at the reception is very friendly. There is loads and loads of information to read therefore one day is not enough. The museum has two floors and in the ground floor you’ll explore the establishment of Fusilier forces and the in the first floor one will find the contribution of them during the 1st and 2nd world wars. Wealth of an experience. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely great place to visit. Took my Dad who is ex RHF and he loved it. The girls on the desk inside are absolutely great and welcome you the minute you step in the door. I highly recommend to anyone, even if you haven't served it's still worth a visit.

Anyone interested in the history of Scottish regiments will be fascinated by this place. This is where to discover more about The Royal Highland Fusiliers and it's antecedent regiments The Royal Scots Fusiliers and the Highland Light Infantry. Great collection. The Museum was well run until March 2006 when it fell into the stewardship" of dubious people such as the person who sent me an email today. Until the harridan from Honiton is exorcised from the building I suspect The Regimental Museum will be justifiably regarded as a "not very user-/visitor friendly" place."

The ladies where very nice and helpful here, and the items on display where very good.

Great little chunk of military history. Employees are very thoughtful and quite likeable.

A small museum and a bit dark making some of the exhibits difficult to read. Friendly staff. Worth a visit.
