Fine friendly pub, great atmosphere and most enjoyable visits. Good to be able to sit outside in the Autumn sunshine and enjoy some excellent beer. Delighted that the friends from the Angel" have kept together and moved their allegiance to the "York"!"

We went to The Pie and Oyster in Easingwold for our anniversary. It was quiet but this is a new venture in an old pub so not disappointed as once people start to sample the cuisine I feel sure it will get very busy. The meat and cheese sharing platter was superb. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and ambient music played in the background. All in all a great experience.

Had a wonderful meat and cheese tapas board to share. Cannot fault it. It was just perfect. We will definitely be back. Pie and Oyster at The York in Easingwold.

We came here for a quick pint waiting for a bus into york and we asked a couple of questions about when they were going etc and the guy behind the bar was very chatty and welcoming. We said we were from north wales and we had a lovely chat and he had loads of recommendations for us for the local area. A really welcoming pub

Stopped of here for a couple of drinks with my son on the 18th of November with the hartlepool fans on the way to the york city game. Lovely place nice friendly staff and a lovely little pub .

A lovely welcoming pub, really nice staff and real value for money. They serve a delicious ploughmans lunch and paninis. They were also very kind to our dog and brought her a bowl of water, would highly recommend for a visit :)
