Great bonfire night at the crown last night sat 4 Nov excellent service and hospitality well worth £5 entrance fee recomend it next year it it's still one of the functions avaliable

Just went in the bar for food and drink. Excellent stmosphere and great food. Building is very well furbished and hotel area looks good quality.

Beautiful pub and restaurant serving wholesome English food. The staff is super friendly. The decor is fitting and adorable featuring multi blue plaid carpeting & cozy deco. They even had dog blankets and a wood burning stove for cold nights .. of course I was here in August so it was too warm for that. The food is phenomenal. I had the steak pie with mash and seasonal veggies.. It did not disappoint. The bathrooms are clean. It has ample parking and lovely views. The prices were very good for the superb food quality. I would 100% recommend this pub/restaurant.

4th time visiting since reopening, reluctant to return after previous poor service experience, risked it for the beer garden. waited 60 minutes for a beef burger, duck spring rolls and fish and chips, asked 45 minutes into the wait how long it was going to be as the restaurant was empty, only a few couples sat outside with drinks, we was told it was coming “now”, waited 15 more minutes. food is good but the wait ruins the experience, and unfortunately there’s been no growth since opening.. hopefully this is only our experience and not a common occurrence but it’s been just like this each time we’ve come - spread out visits all at relatively quiet times. disappointing

First time dinning since it reopened. Food was good quality and service great too, staff friendly.Menu choices a bit slim/predictable.Sunday lunch was reasonable for the price.

Second visit. Hot day so sat outside. Doors to the pub and conservatory open. Food and service good but the music is still far to loud even sitting outside. Four handpumps but no cask beer as advertised.

Went on a Friday night, had some tea and enjoyed a band. Great place, very dog friendly with lots of blankets and cushions for your furry friend. Food was very nice and proper home cooked" style. Had a chat with some of the band and we'll be back very news.Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs without being overbearing
