Haydn is a class act. He photographed our Lake District wedding this summer and we could not be more pleased with the images. Every single one is beautiful. He managed to capture the atmosphere of the day so perfectly, as well as all sorts of little moments we wouldn't otherwise have been able to see. He works with complete confidence and professionalism and we couldn't recommend him more highly.

We were getting married in Iceland and we wanted a photographer that could not only capture the emotions of that day but also the beautiful scenery. When we saw Haydn's portfolio online we knew we found the perfect photographer for us and we contacted him right away. We have just got our wedding photographs back from Haydn Rydings Photography and poring over them has been a mesmerising and quite profound experience.As a hobby photographer and lover of social and urban reportage, I particularly and deliberately settled upon Haydn because we could see not only was he good (in this day many a wedding photographer is good because technology makes it ever harder to take a bad photo) but because his work very quickly stood head and shoulders above the photographers out there - with a careful playing of documentation and emotion. You need more than a wedding photographer for your wedding. You need a skilled, painterly eye.But this is where Haydn stands head and shoulders from others. His unobtrusive documenting of our special day has produced stunning photographic memories. Very adept at getting the formal, must-have photographs, Haydn also excels at spotting the smile, the held hand, the intent concentration of a parent, the stolen kiss and the moments of tranquillity amidst the familiar circus of a wedding. Working with a quiet patience defying just how he clearly scans a room and the beats of your day with an astute and cinematic eye, Rydings work puts the effort into effortless.He doesn't just capture the happy couple at their best (and without resorting to wedding photography clichés). Me and my boyfriend had a couples shoot and chose Haydn as we wanted something a bit different and cool, that suited our style. We absolutely love all the photographs - Haydn has a fantastic and creative eye, and put us so at ease on the day. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Unlike all the other choices on offer when planning a wedding, when it came to the photographer Ed & I only actually looked at Haydn’s work and Knew instinctively there was no one else we wanted to record our day.We didn’t opt for the engagement session so the first time I met Haydn in person was on the morning of the big day. I felt like we’d met before, Haydn was not only extremely professional but has a wonderful calm persona and I hardly noticed he was there. With all the excitement and anticipation of the day this is such an important quality to have in your photographer.Now the pictures! It’s hard to describe why we are so enthralled with the results, the pictures capture the day with the honesty I was expecting from Haydn but there Is a magic about them only he can create. We can’t stop looking at them and keep noticing different expressions and moments that have been captured beautifully and we can cherish for the rest of our lives.We trusted Haydn 100% in fact we never doubted the images would be amazing as we only had to look at his portfolio and let him get on with his job – what more could you ask for? Working in the wedding industry as a professional videography, I have admired Haydns work for a long time. When it was time for us to get married the choice of Photographer was a no brainer.From the start Haydn made us feel very comfortable and relaxed in front of the lens. Haydn is a remarkable photographer and I'm proud my husband and I got to experience his exquisite talent first-hand.On the morning of the wedding he arrived on time and set to work autonomously without any fuss. I don't know where he disappeared to because I can't remember seeing him again till we were married.
