It’s a beautiful place if you love boats. The small sandy beach which is perfect for the kids.

Very nice place however the method and help with paid parking is poor to unhelpful...if you can't setup the mobo app then you have to move your car to somewhere else. I suspect its to only encourage the locals. But if you can get past that problem then its worth a visit.

Great little area with both historical buildings and a few pubs and restaurants. Completely different pace to Southend and it's only a short distance away. Plus the high water mark from the floods puts them into perspective, especially with the current flooding elsewhere in the country.

Lovely day out,this place is always a pleasure to visit,WATCH PARKING THOUGH!! got a ticket despite displaying valid blue badge,Southend Council try to make money from visitors! Ticket has been challenged!

Really enjoyed exhibiting my work there among lots of other artists as part of the 'Old Leigh Artist Market' on the May Bank holiday Monday, will be back again for August Bank holiday 29th August!

Strand Wharf is a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by or indeed have lunch (which is what we did). Even during the restrictions and in winter it is a lovely place - although be warned there is no cover if the weather is a bit inclement.Of course we'll be back..
