Barnard Castle Camping and Caravanning Club Site
A superb Campaign and Caravaning Club site. A quiet location just outside Barnard Castle, with a spacious feeling to the place.Great facilities for caravsns, motorhomes, tents and ready camping.Very friendly and helpful staff with a small shop on site.

Really nice site. Very friendly helpful team. Some great little touches like dog pegs and dog wash. Very quiet especially during the evening and night. Older style toilet and shower block with very hot water but just how we like it with proper showers with hoses so you don’t have to stand on your head to wash all your parts ! Lovely site with lots of walks from the site in all directions. Great for short walk in to Barnard Castle as well.

Barnard Castle Camping and Caravanning Club Site
One of the best Camping and Caravan Club sites we've stayed at. Peaceful and nicely laid out. Children's play area is at the far end with a good sized playing field. The walk to the town is 1.5 miles without any busy roads to walk along. Just one to cross before going over the river to the Castle/town centre. Good facilities kept very clean. Will return.

Excellent location for visiting Barnard Castle and the castle if the same name! Good reception and site the usual immaculate CCC type. Rooks in adjacent wood may be a seasonal noisy nuisance especially at dawn and dusk.

Barnard Castle Camping and Caravanning Club Site
Beautiful campsite. The wardens are super helpful. Toilets and showers are clean and the showers are lovely and warm. Fabulous location with a half hour country / woodland walk into Barnard Castle. The site is very well maintained and our pitch was perfect. We would definitely return.

Barnard Castle Camping and Caravanning Club Site
Shower was cold and dated. Had to check in before 5pm. Just made it from Skye but the staff were very stressed about it. Had a few missed calls on my phone from them. The showers close for cleaning early so no chance of a long lie in bed. Very close to Barnard castle if you are touring but we were going to Staffordshire so just wanted to get on the road.

Good site in an outstanding area. Wardens were very pleasent and helpful. Good size pitch too. The walk into Barnard castle is beautiful, through woods and along the river. Only 1 road to cross. Will be returning.

Barnard Castle Camping and Caravanning Club Site
A little gem off the beaten track, this campsite is just off Lartington Lane. Clean facilities, secure key coded entry barrier with a one way road system around the site. Quiet hours between 11pm and 7 a.m, the barriers are also locked between these silent hours. Plenty of local footpaths and an easy walk into town. Under foot conditions on the grass are weather dependent. There are hard standings for campervans and caravans.

Barnard Castle Camping and Caravanning Club Site
2 night stay at Barnard Castle Camping and Caravan club site. We have stayed here before but beware if you are located beyond the ready tent the smell from the pig farm is horrendous and the flys around the caravan.We only stopped 1 night had to forfeit the 2nd as we couldn’t stand the smell or the flys.The campsite it’s self is very quiet and the amenities are clean but we won’t be coming here again.

Barnard Castle Camping and Caravanning Club Site
Very good camping and caravan club site within striking distance of Barnard Castle town centre. Located to the west of the town, it is very quiet and situated well off the main road to Middleton in Teesdale. Good, clean facilities and well managed by the team. One feature of the site I really like is the ability to take a very picturesque walk into town through the woods and along the beck. We had a great time there!
