Sinclair Van Centre - Cardiff

Categorically the worst experience I have ever had with a garage, let alone a main dealer. The experience ended with a breakdown and near vehicle fire on a dual carriage way, two days after they had declared the van fit to drive. What a way to get yo a wedding! £270 in taxi fees later and no apology, no offer of a gesture of goodwill. I will never buy a vehicle from this garage, or recommend anyone to ask them to do any work on your van. They have a terrible and well deserved reputation in South Wales!

Had a few Auto Electricians work on my T6 and to be honest messed it up and I'm due to go travelling to Spain very soon which is a trip I've been planning for a year getting the campervan ready.I went to VW Sinclairs and told them how desperate I was to get it fixed. They were busy for 2 weeks but promised me they woukd sort it by the end of the week after dropping campervan off late Monday. They are awesome fair play. Campervan sorted and good price too. What I've learned is I ain't going to other Trades people again but sticking with VW Sinclairs as your guaranteed quality work and they will sort it . Massive THANK YOU VW Sinclairs Cardiff

Do not waste your time with Sinclair Cardiff Vans, they customer service is appalling and the technician are clueless they say everything is not covered under warranty and want to charge you for everything booked a vehicle in for a rattling fly said not covered ? Failed the mot on a leaking shock not covered although the vehicle is in warranty absolute rouges when challenged on the fly wheel after 3 visits and 5 phone calls said they would do it as a good will gesture even though the car was under warranty and a technician listed to the noise in tha car park and said yes fly wheel is gone

Worst customer experience I have ever received from any company. They are not too busy to care, they just don't care!

Customer service is very poor. Warranty issues palmed off as shoes damaging paint work and therefore rusting. If I ran my business like this and gave this level of service, I would be out of business. This isn't the first issue where they make the customer feel like they are wasting their time by coming to get their vehicle looked at. I love my transporter but don't like the hassles and poor customer service.I spoke to the parts manager who palmed me off to the aftersales manager who had the day off. Took all my details (on a post-it note) and said he would get him to get in touch the next day but haven't heard anything at all.

Booked in my VW Crafter for a service. Noted in morning that EML light had come on. Have had a far more premium dealership and servicing experience from far less premium brands. I wasn't called to say the van was finished and ready for pick up and the team never ran a diagnostic on the EML light. Stating its a really straight forward thing to do so you don't need a franchise dealer to check it out

Classic main dealer too busy to care, told we had a valid warranty claim for T6 suspension arms, technician spotted the problem first visit, came back for the work and a different technician said nothing wrong, now they charge me for their time! Its a 60 minute drive each way. Better off with a keen independent vw service like Gwent VW. Feel so let down and cheated :(

This is the third time my vehicle has been in for the oil leak that they’ve failed to fix. I walked in and literally stood by service desk for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement from the service advisor. Someone from sales eventually asked if they could help. I get the service advisor was busy typing something up on his computer. However a simple “hello” or “I’ll be with you shortly” would have sufficed. Instead of me standing there like a lemon, I just found this very rude and bad service. Poor parking

Excellent service from Matthew and his team. Some of the items I thought needed attention didn’t, and this saved me hundreds of pounds. Not sure all garages would have done that. These guys have been keeping my 8 yr old Caravelle in tip top condition since new. Highly recommended.
