I was a total beginner and felt within just a couple of lessons that I had improved markedly. Joseph is a great teacher and I would 100% recommend him to anyone wanting to learn. It was really easy to schedule the lessons around work too.

I started lessons with Joe as a beginner and although I only had lessons for a short period of time I was very pleased with my progress. Joe was a very good teacher and made me feel very relaxed during lessons. He is also very quick at responding to any emails and very flexible in rescheduling lessons. I hope to have lessons with him again in the future. Would definitely recommend to anyone! :)

Just started lessons with Joey and already I feel like I'm progressing so much. He is very friendly and accommodating of whatever you want to learn.Not patronising or intimidating and he doesn't lecture you (feel the need to say this after other experiences lol).Takes you through everything as thoroughly as you need and is patient and encouraging. Would highly recommend, especially for beginners or those who don't have much confidence as he will get you playing songs you like much quicker than you might expect :)

I found Joey through google as being a thoroughly recommended teacher. The first lesson I had was brilliant and informative. He made me feel very relaxed even though I was a bit tense about my first guitar lesson. On a personal note as a female playing guitar I never felt intimidated during his teaching and he’s quick and helpful to correct any incorrect style of playing without feeling like your being told off! Thoroughly would recommend.

I started lessons with Joseph as a beginner, and within a couple of weeks I was playing a song almost in it's entirety. I felt immediately comfortable with him, and his teaching style kept me motivated to improve. He is patient, friendly, and knows what he is doing. If anyone is looking to start playing the guitar, I would absolutely recommend Joseph as an instructor!

Joey is by far the best guitar teacher I've ever had. I tried everything before him, other teachers, learning alone, online classes and guitar learning programs and made barely any progress. 3 months after starting with Joey I already was playing a few songs. 6 months and decided to dedicate myself to bass, no problem for Joey. After 6 months I started playing in a band, and now am learning to write bass lines. Couldn't be happier with my progress and results. And the best part? You get to learn the songs you want in the style you want. No grannies beginners songs, you get to progress in the style you want and learn the musics you want, which is even more motivating. 5/5 hands down.

Joey is a great teacher, I really enjoy his lessons. Starting as a complete beginner he made me feel relaxed and able to ask as many questions as I liked. He’s really flexible with his lessons and always has availability

I've recently picked up the guitar again after seeing it gather dust over the years. Joe has been brilliant. He uses his experience to guide you through and is completely on board with helping you master whatever style you're going for. Joe is really supportive and provides everything you need to practice. I have enjoyed learning from Joey right from Day One. He quickly followed up on my list of favourite artists and has a new song tabulated and ready to learn every week or two (depending on complexity). Joey’s lessons blend theory seamlessly into song practice so it doesn’t feel like a boring theory lesson. He shows me easy and more complex versions of the same chord sequences, and both the individual melody notes and chords for each song. He has a calm attitude and is a pleasure to work with.
