Great Family Run Business, been going there almost my entire life

Chris is a really great hairdresser, get loads of compliments at work for both cut and colour. Always a warm welcome in the salon too, Chris and Karen are lovely and always up for a good natter.

Disappointing. Only been to the salon twice and never going back & wouldn’t reccomend. My appointment was for 24th October. When I arrived at the salon at 10:25am Christopher welcomed me with “Gemma your late by 30 minutes face like thunder” any normal professional hairdressers wouldn’t welcome you like this would they ?Anyway bearing in mind Karen left me a voicemail on my phone the previous day reminding my appointment was for 10:30am. Christopher then said “your appointment was for 10am you will have to rearrange” I even played the voicemail to them both but they wasn’t interested by their faces, he reacted like it was my fault ? when actually it was Karen’s fault for not telling me the correct time and she didn’t even apologise. I was very upset when I left.Christopher has done me a massive favour as I have gone back to my original hairdresser which she has done a 100% better job with my hair and 100% better cut so I’m very happy.Wouldn’t recommend Christopher Bacon as not great and not professional or talented.
