Wardhill Castle

I had lost my wedding ring almost a year ago. I can not believe that I actually found it on top of my luggage while unpacking at this magical place. Such a wonderful place to stay. A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a castle is a must!

The butler, Luke, was very helpful and professional. Secluded location, if you looking for a quiet time to yourselves!

Was there for a Wedding reception which was held on the grounds. Didn't go into the Castle itself.The road up to the grounds/Castle is a bit of a challenge but the grounds themselves are lovely and the Castle makes a lovely backdrop to the event.Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Beautiful castle secluded in the foot hills. We were there for a wedding and enjoyed have the whole wedding party together. The castle was beautiful inside with lots of character. The grounds and the near by towns were a joy to explore. Sitting out front with a fire was another enjoyable moment. A couple of things that stopped this from being a 5 star. Washer, but no dryer…. 12 people trying to hang up things to dry was cumbersome no bathroom down stairs meant one bedroom had to share their bathroom with everyone. There was also restrictions on high heel shoes because of potential damage to the floors, so there was a lot of shoe changing. Finally having guess take teach to the main road is not the last thing you want to remember. Still would recommend Wardhill Castle for a memorable event/stay.

Wonderful, special place. Beautiful interiors, cozy and intimate. Perfect for a family holiday or to hire for an important event! Highly recommend. The host, Will, is a legend.

Remote location. Private castle. Presume looks good summer or winter. Suspect nice to have a party inside or rent for business. November is not the best month to come, looks so so. Need to pop in summer.
