DONT COME HERE. I assume they will delete this review, I was going to bring my car at 16.00pm on Friday 13th after work but I rang MARTIN and he said bring the car down on Saturday in the morning so I brought my car for a diagnostic on Saturday 14th October around at 9:45am left him to it and Martin said I’ll ring you in the afternoon knowingly he close at 1pm. Martin told me he’ll ring at 12:30pm but instead rang me when near enough closing time approx at 12:40pm I was already home and Martin gave me the option to come and collect the car or leave it with him until Monday so I wanted to collect my car as I needed it for another option from a different garage. Martin rang me and explained that he is closing how long you’ll take I said I had to catch a bus and would take an hour Martin was rude and did not wait for me and said I’m closing now you need to wait until Monday. I still went down as I was already on the bus and wasted £5.20 for a day ticket wasted my time and Martin had my car for 2 days in his possession without my permission. I was stressed and felt rushed, I lost a days pay for having Monday off work to collect my car, Martin had no thought of sympathy whatsoever for his customer. I refuse to pay him as he has caused me stressed. Then, Martin tried to get his colleagues to block my car in with two cars as me and my dad stood at front of them stopping them doing this as this is an inappropriate behaviour. Martin tried to stop me and nudged my arm from standing at front of the vehicles with martins colleagues still wanting to block my car in. I walked in the office to get my invoice from Martin and I seen through the windows that 3 men around my dad trying to terrorise him and one of the mechanic pushed my dad and my dad tripped and leant on my car, I phoned the police cos this is bodily harm and is completely disgusting how me as a customer been treated and my dad getting hurt. I will not under no circumstances come to place ever again and should be looked into as the manager (MARTIN) is completely rude and arrogant all that Martin cares about is to charge people arm and a leg for something that is a simple fix as I had an slight oil leak and didn’t diagnose the car properly. The oil leak is common on my car which is the seal gasket on the oil cooler and seal on the turbo charger as I have taken to another garage and they have confirmed this. They charge more than the Mercedes dealership themselves not worth it at all I will say stay well aware of this place and be cautious as their attitude is not how to treat customers.

After expending my DIY and cheap code reader abilities I brought my van in for a fault diagnosis. I was told that my van had the wrong ECU and testing couldn't proceed.They were very nice but gave me no useful info but were all too happy to charge.I took it to an independant place in Leicester and they had it sorted in 5 minutes (maf sensor needed resetting even with the original maf sensor being ok).

The service by Martin and service reception staff was second to non as they took time to keep me informed throughout and explain the work completed on my car. They also contacted the warranty company on my behalf saving me time and hassle. The car was taken into the garage twice, as the fault code changed, this was not the fault of the MB Nottingham mechanics, rather the intermittent fault which showed different fault codes when one problem was solved. The time spent by the mechanics finding exactly what and where the fault was, fixing and testing it was very professional. The car was returned valeted each time, which showed care and attention to detail beyond what is normally provided by other garages I have used. Thank you I would definitely recommend MB Nottingham and will definitely return in the future for servicing and other mechanical work that may be needed.

the absolute wrose place you can take you car, they are unprofessional dishonest and incompetent.I took my car here and they messed with it so badly i could hardly drive it home because they went through it and wanted 8000 to fix things that would cost 5-10% of the asking feethey completely emptied the gear box oil to check" it and didnt put a drop back inI could not drive it home when i drove it there 3 weeks earlier it ran beautifully on the way home i had to stop and work out why the car was running so badly.then

Excellent service received from MB Nottingham. Diagnosed and fixed issues with vehicle to get it running again, where another Mercedes specialist had completely misdiagnosed faults and failed to fix issues.

Very irresponsible!!! Charged £118 for doing nothing(Have receipts to prove it). I went to this repair shop because my vehicle reported a rear tail light failure. I explained the problem to the receptionist and he promised that the problem would be solved during lunch time. However, there was no news until 3pm. After contacting the manager, he said that he could not find the cause. It might be a circuit failure, or it might be a circuit failure between the fuse and the rear tail light. I doubted what he said and planned to send the car back to the main dealer for repair. But he said he needed to pay £118 to take the car away. Nothing was found and the charge was 118. This tail light problem was later checked out and fixed by myself. As professionals, they couldn't detect it. There is reason to suspect that they are charging customers without doing anything! It’s incomprehensible! I will never go there again, and I hope others will not be deceived either.

Worst and least professional place I’ve ever trusted my car with, I spoke with Martin multiple times asking for updates on what’s going on and he would say he’ll call me back but never do until days after when he said he would, this would happen everytime I asked for an update. After I received the car back from a headlight, clutch installations and service. I quickly realised a number of issues it still had once I got the car back (after installing new headlights, they were not dipped so flashed every driver I drove past, main beam didn’t work, and the car also had a coolant cap that was not put on properly after a service causing it to blew off and smoke up the engine bag whilst I was on dual carriageway). I brought the car back to the garage and they took it for a whole month just for an oil seal apparently which is unacceptable and I think they are the biggest time wasters as I’ve finally received the car back and the headlights are still not right. In addition to this, my already installed air suspension had been tampered with and now faulty which I will have to sort out myself as i definitely am not going back with any issues as they just make it worse. Honestly, biggest waste of time and money coming to this garage.
