I took my vehicle here for a diagnostic and repair. Dropped it off on the Monday and by Thursday they still hadn't looked at it, on Friday they said they needed to strip the engine down and that the diagnostic fee was going to increase from £120 to £480. They said it was looking like it might need a new engine so it could take a few weeks. After a bit of back and forth with them because they couldn't get their story to line up as to whether or not the vehicle had even been looked at, I phoned my warranty company for advice and they told me to take it to another Peugeot dealer and to avoid Allingtons. I took my vehicle to another main dealer and they had it diagnosed and repaired within 3 hours of me dropping off the vehicle (it was a leaking AdBlue injector). The staff at Allingtons also have a seriously rude and poor attitude.Edit: John Dunn is either a liar or not very good at discovering his findings"."

Service department, awful. Rang to enquire about a part and was told it was on back order and to give them a few days and they'd call me with a rough idea of how long it would take to source. That call never came. I rang back and was again told they'd return my call. They never bothered. I emailed, never got a response. Six weeks down the line I got a phone a call out of the blue to say they'd got it in stock. Tough, I sourced it myself and had it shipped from China within 10 days (£200 cheaper) and fitted 2 days later elswhere. Not a garage I'd consider having dealings with again.** In regards to Allingtons response I'd like to point out that it's actually incorrect. Nobody rang me on the 6th June. They rang on the 6th July (would you like a screen shot of the call log because I do have it). Fact is nobody rang me as promised when I ordered the part nor did anyone reply to my email. I ended up ordering elsehwere due to your shoddy service. As for being of similar quality I really couldn't care. The car is sold I've bought a new one. Being dishonest is not a good look for a business.

Really happy with the sales experience! I had dealings with Marc Scrowther and Wes (who sits next to him) who were both really friendly gentlemen. There was no pushy sales pitch and Marc found a car I liked with low mileage. He let me have time to think about it over the weekend so no hassle. The finance was sorted quickly and easily with another friendly manager (sorry can’t remember his name!) and I got the car within the week. Keep up the good work guys!! It was a pleasure!

What amazing customer service. Family have bought a few cars now from Allingtons, so when I was ready I went into see Wes at Vauxhall. So helpful and so friendly it really felt like a personal experience. Wes confirmed my initial thoughts for an upgrade were perfect for me and although I had a long wait, 7 months,for my stunning new Mokka-e, she is exactly what I wished for. Couldn't be happier. Wes has, since collection, been in touch several times to ensure everything is OK. Which it most certainly is.

Booked my motorhome in for a service and a MOT test, they took the booking over the phone after dropping off the vehicle and leaving it with them l got a phone call from them to say that they were not prepared to carry out the test or service. They said it was health safety issues rubbish, they have carried out the last 2 years service and MOTs
