Farah is a pure diamond in the rubbish of the rest of SCS operations I cannot fault here at all. Before considering any furniture, look into every detail. Why? After ordering a £1,800 item, nothing but bad customer service. Also, if purchasing on finance, be aware of the terms.If you want to know more and make a choice, read below.Once the sofa was ordered and told should be 12 weeks. Delivery and confirmation was given a week before delivery. As most people would, we got rid of our old sofa to make way for the new one.Two days before delivery we were informed the sofa was not going to be delivered for possibly another 3 weeks. As a customer, when ringing to ask why, then told it was not confirmed and made to feel you did not read the e-mail. After reading the email back to the customer service agent she did agree the email stated the sofa would be delivered and not expected to be delivered on the due date.When questioned, why the delay and no information into the customers' situation - we asked for a loan sofa. We were told they do not offer loan sofas. But on this occasion after listening we got loaned one.Finally it arrives and you get the delivery. Do not sign anything until everything is checked and works correctly. why, because once you sign for it, you are accepting everything it working is correct. SCS will then not accept any responsibility for the item they have sold you despite consumer rights and they pass this on to a third party.Unfortunately, with ours, we trusted the delivery guys. BANG fail part 2. Not one but two faults instantly discovered. So after a call to SCS, I was told a contracting company will be in touch in 2 to 3 days. Hey, purchased from SCS and less than an hour old and they do not want to know. Would you accept this? So, I was fobbed OFF saying it's not SCS but EMMIERA who will deal with it.Being patient- no call by the Wednesday ( Technically 4 working days later) another call to SCS - again told the contractor will contact and discovered on the call that SCS have not sent the photos of the item to the contractor. But one reassurance that someone will call directly the following day.THURSDAY AFTERNOON - 7 DAYS after delivery. Still no actual call but a message to book in an inspection for the item. So delivery was on Friday 13 October and no possible inspection until 6th November effectivly 3 weeks after delivery.. not good service at all. Also found out that SCS had only informed Emmiera at 5:30pm on the Wednesday evening. This was something which should have been sent on Friday 13th October.Finance - if you're taking finance , then read it because as soon as you sign the agreement and it's not even delivered, your terms of the loan are active!!!!!
