I joined Custos Care after seeing such a refreshing poster about it. I love that it’s an agency for local people to be supported by local people. I also love that I can deliver personalised support designed by the client - what she wants, when she wants it, according to a care plan she agrees on. It’s an ethos that respects people as individuals, both support worker and client. The agency is run by a carer himself, who’s hugely passionate and experienced. But passion alone isn’t enough when working in social care. The recruitment process was reassuringly rigorous, involving face-to-face interviews, references, right-to-work check, and enhanced DBS check. The induction process was also rigorous, involving comprehensive insurance and training. I’m really pleased to have come across the poster - and pleased to have met my client. It’s a people-to-people thing, mutually beneficial.

Having now worked with Custos care for over 4 months I can confidently say that Custos is second to none.Finding a care agency in central London that genuinely cares for their clients as well as having a consistent focus on the wellbeing of their carers is something you don’t come across often.All carers not only require an EDBS check and character references, but also insurance and training to ensure only the best and most friendly caregivers are working with us. If I had a family member who required assistance or live in care I would use Custos Care every time.

My experience with this company has been very positive. The carers are kind & qualified, with EDBS certification as standard. I have done some work for Custos, and I've never had cause to complain. It is a great option for care & companionship services.
