Marcus was great! We booked him to give our 8 year old son his first skateboarding lesson and he had the best time. He left wanting to see Marcus every week!

My 12 year-old daughter and her friend have desperately wanted to learn to skateboard. We booked a 2-2-1 skateboard lesson with Marcus at Big Bro Skate. Because the weather was bad Marcus rescheduled to the M32 Skatepark because it is covered, rather than Bradley Stoke.Marcus started the lesson by checking out their skateboards to see how they worked/performed and gave us some advice about the boards.He had adjustable helmets, various pads and spare skateboards. He explained that skateboarding can be dangerous but he had done everything possible to mitigate the risks.The girls then had an hour of skateboarding tuition. At the end of it they had gone from total beginners to skating down slopes and turning on ramps.They loved the lesson, despite the cold weather, and have already booked a second lesson.We recommend Big Bro Skate Co. Marcus is a great instructor and he gave the girls a lot of confidence. Thank you.

My daughter has now had two lessons at Big Bro Skate Co and is really enjoying her lessons with Marcus. Marcus is very knowledgable and an excellent communicator so it is always clear what they are trying to achieve and the technique required to get there. He is very approachable and keeps the lessons fun. For our daughter he has the perfect balance of encouragement, support, push and fun. Highly recommend!

Marcus is a great teacher. We did a 3-1 lesson, the kids (age 6, 7, 8) all loved it- especially the tricks at the end! Would highly recommend.

Our 6 year old had his first lesson with Marcus the other day and loved it. He learned essential skills to balance, control and skate independently, without holding hands. Marcus was very patient, boosted confidence and praised achievements and our boy is still talking about it! We highly recommend Big Bro Skate Co and look forward to the next lesson.

Marcus is absolutely amazing, very patient and understanding. He has built the trust of our son like no one else and that’s not easy!

My Son and friend attended one of Marcus's group skate session's at the skatepark in The Royal Victoria Park in Bath. Great concept which both boy's enjoyed, with Marcus always on hand to encourage and share his experience. Already booked another session, Highly Recommended.
