The store is always so inviting and tidy. As well as the staff all being very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I purchased a switch game and some funko pops, the gent on the till was chatty and pleasant when serving me while someone grabbed the game from the other side of the store.Amazing customer service! Thank you Smyths.

Has vast range of toys & find it normally cheaper than most places. In my view buying from toy shops like this seem seems to get bigger discounts.

Excellent place to go.They have everything from babies to gaming adults.Everyone is happy.Staff are friendly and willing to help.Store is clean and tidy. This company takes.pride.in everything they doI would highly recommend this store to anyone who is looking for toys, gaming chairs, bikes, etc you won't be disappointed.This store also have a customer toilet and big enough so a wheel chair user with baby changing table.

we came in to browse fidget toys, however every time my father approached or made eye contact with a member of staff they ignored him. many of the staff members were just standing around on their phones too

We love this place, if you ask my grandson where he wants to go after nursery he will say TOY SHOP. He loves going to Smyth's as he can check out the toys and try them and see what he likes without the staff moaning. He can try the games, little race tracks on entry , bikes etc and if charged up he can ride the electric cars . They don't mind you getting toys down to play with and try them for size . Great assortment of Toys, baby equipment, cots, prams , bikes, video games . Something for everyone. It's great having toilets too so my grandson can nip in the loo if needed. X

Been today and was served by a lady - really rude and poorly bad service - item priced at 5.99 on shelf and when went to pay and was told it’s 9.99 and been priced wrong. Explained the price on the shelf and that’s what it’s advertised as but was told tough it’s priced wrong and if we wanted it was 9.99. My son was heart broken as he didn’t have enough pocket money for the item in the end so was told to take it back. We ended up paying 9.99 but then was told to move your own basket too as staff don’t take baskets away. Disgusting rude attitude and not how it should be. If you don’t like your job then leave and get a new one!

Wouldn't let me order. Kept taking order then cancelling. They is nothing wrong with my card billing address. This is the first time this has happened. If there's none in stock to collect this is going all over social media

Tried to phone the store today (we live 30 miles away), no answer after an hour or so trying, so followed website advice for faulty/return of goods, to visit the store.Arrived with my sons broken Turtle Beach headset, with box, receipt all in perfect condition except for a broken headband (plastic snapped due to material quality/design flaw. The headset is only 6 months old, has a warranty.Tom, refused to give me his surname, said with only a cursory glance “user abuse”.I asked Tom to confirm the store decision with his details so I could escalate further.He refused.I asked to escalate the issue. He refused.The only thing he did do was to tell me to use the website. I pointed out it says return faulty goods to store.Tom then asked me to leave the store, when due to COVID, I was not even in the store.I am trying to escalate this within Smythes Toys & with Turtle Beach.I will not use this retailer again, due to this incident & suggest no-one buys any plastic or electronic goods you would expect to be durable, as this store staff member refused help or assistance of any kind.Totally outrageous.

Asked if the store had any car park CCTV, got this reply:Unfortunately the car park is not owned by Smyths Toys.We would advise contacting the company that owns the car park with any queries.Well thats great, thanks for letting me know who to get in touch with...

Went today 15/7/2022 to buy my grandson an e scooter! A memberof staff was on hand to get if off the shelf and take it to the till on entering the store! Bought and paid for in 5 mins!Massive store with isle’s of different toys.Parking at the front as well.Would certainly recommend this store!
