We had a mini photoshoot on mother's day at the American Museum. Helena was great, we are not people who like having their photo taken as a general rule of thumb but she made us feel really relaxed and we had so many gorgeous photos and memories from our quick session. Would definitely recommend to others.

What can I say…over six month since our family shoot and I am still obsessed with our images. We have never done a family photo shoot before, and we’re feeling a little nervous but Helena made the whole family feel relaxed and at ease, making for a fantastic, fun experience.A moment in time captured forever! Helena listened carefully to my brief and made additional suggestions to get the most out of the shoot. She made everyone feel relaxed to the point where the shoot was really good fun and the team and kids had great fun. Helena was able to edit, process and produce the photos the next day which I was able to download and use immediately. Helena is a wonderful wedding photographer. She made everything so easy for us, from the initial discussions through to sending us the whole fantastic gallery just 9 days after the wedding!Her communication was amazing, always responding swiftly and warmly which made a massive difference during the otherwise stressful wedding planning. On the day people couldn’t believe that we’d only met Helena a couple of times previously as she seemed like an old friend already.Helena’s photography expertise and sense of initiative were invaluable when considering photo timings and locations, and she seamlessly managed both unruly kids (making sure they were still and genuinely smiling) and adults (making sure they were where they needed to be and not at the bar!).Her photos of the ceremony and the reception really caught the essence of the day and looking back at them we are instantly immersed in the memory of it. The whole experience with Helena was more than we could have hoped for and we are thrilled to have such beautiful photos with which to remember our special day.

Helena conducted a very special maternity photoshoot while I was 7 months pregnant with my first child. I have never been one for professional photos thinking they can be a bit staged - but Helena allayed all my concerns. She was relaxed, informal, funny and she made me feel totally at ease in front of the camera, even in my underwear! She brought thoughtful props and outfits along to the shoot and was patient and responsive throughout. She shared my photo gallery within one week and we are thrilled with her images which mark a very special moment in time. I'd highly recommend Helena and can't wait to do another shoot with her again for our next special occasion.

Great experience with Helena. Some members of my family are photo-shy but she made it so much fun. We had some lovely natural family pictures and a wonderful evening we will cherish forever!

Helena has captured our little family on two occasions now - once for an outdoor family session and most recently at home with our newborn baby.As a family photographer myself I’m particularly selective as to which photographers I choose to capture my own family.Helena has all the qualities you need for a family and motherhood photographer - patient, kind and creative. My daughter who doesn't warm easily to new people was completely charmed by Helena, who put her very quickly at ease and became her new best friend.Helena was so understanding and conscientious most recently taking her time with our very restless newborn, to ensure she got a beautiful variety of images for us. She also came prepared with lots of blankets and newborn clothes.I've been 'wowed' both times by the images Helena has captured. A mix of intimate artistic shots, along with the more joyful, playful and in the moment images - which we will treasure forever.

I cannot recommend Helena enough. From start to finish I knew we were in safe hands. She was wonderful with our children and she has such a warm spirit which made everyone relax.
